um, I kind of hate my ocs rn bc they've gone so far from the original them how I originally wanted them for the sake of a story that was just a side project, so I might have to wipe every character's place in AEVIS and just re do it or stop the project.

I'm just feeling all over the place and I don't think it should continue with me hating my story and characters. I'm thinking that maybe I should reboot Angel's Beckoning, maybe with a different name, because I truly loved that story with all my heart even if it wasn't that popular. I mean, I can't even bring myself to love the main character in AEVIS more than the side characters. It just feels so ...wrong.

Ok, after thinking about it overnight here's what's probably going to happen.

I'll keep the au where it's a school/base and is mainly just a little place for my ocs to live in and where you can also make an oc.

Get rid of the "actual" AEVIS world, and stop putting my writing out and trying to make a fanbase until I have at LEAST half the story done/maybe small updates as to how it's doing

Redesign my AEVIS ocs to something that I like more. (uniforms might be tossed)

didn't mention this before abt the boots but, the boot type is different depending on weapon, class, and comfort for the person

For uniforms, they actually don't have a consistent color across every group, they depend on the code-color of the group! Basically, you get assigned a color that corresponds with your uniform.

Uniforms also don't show rank, it's actually the boots. Depending on the different design, you get a different rank! (Beginner, intermediate, or core)

There's a base uniform for both genders, though you can pick from either. The rules on what your uniform looks like are very simple, except a few rules:

It has to cover your vital organs

You must wear the assigned boots

You have to wear the color of your group

You have to wear your undergarments (I can't believe I'm saying this, but just to be careful 😭)

if you're a coordinator, no matter what type, you have to have a comp bag, with a med kit + your group's documents and the AQ-forms you've chosen

You must carry your badge of what dorm you originally belonged to (base dorm, before you formed a group). Ex: Flourett, Halstrick, Lidestar, Vekkin, and Blyeir (you can always go back to your base dorm)

Other than those rules, you're allowed to add on accessories, modify it, have some fun!

Gale is 21, and was found on the streets by Bennet and Ren. He was later brought to the ABOO and raised there. As he grew up in the base, he was taught how to fight and academics. He then came to be the protector of Aevis Academy & ABOO from the shadows. He had the traits of an assassin from a young age, having to steal from others to survive, so he now uses those traits for Ren and Bennet only. His sense of loyalty is strong, overpowering almost every other emotion. When he met Vesper, he felt a sort of kinship, them both being ostracized from society because of something that they couldn't control. He and Vesper became quick friends, and consult each other often for random things.

The desc for Lennie

Lennette is currently 3,972 years old, and she's one of the generals at ABOO (Laris is her second in command). She found her way to The Base (first Kronolis) after running away from Heaven with Laris (Nelle and Scarlet joining them later) because she was deemed a "rebel" and was falsely accused of the betrayal of the monarch. Seeking refuge, she flew down to Kronolis (her wings haven't been taken, they've only turned darker/blacker at the tips & her halo is cracked and tinted black). She and Laris are happy with their new life, but Lennette still feels the pain from her wings, so they're trying to get her name cleared.

Notes: -Painful slowburn with Laris -They are able to redeem her, but struggle with getting permission to go back to Kronolis

A little bit of how Lennette and Laris came down to Kronolis with Marionelle and Scarlet

After the events of AB:TDR (obviously y'all don't know), Lennette ended up "betraying" the monarch, and Laris obviously followed her when she ran away (other wise she would have been exiled which means losing the ability to fly but have to keep the wings that weigh her down). When Scarlet and Marionelle hear about what happened, they came with her, not wanting their lady to not have any retainers.

Astra

Astra is in the V5 squad, and wields a scythe. She loves fashion, and likes to shop and make her own clothes when she has free time. She's very loyal and protective of the people she's close to, but can also be a bit standoffish and rude sometimes. She gets very excited when talking about something she likes, and will get in fistfights over her friends.

Ellie

Ellie is a Corsac fox, and Vesper's best friend. Her current job is a mercenary in the V5 squad, that is led by Vesper [a coordinator who commands from base], and the other members, Astra and Clara. She uses her fists to fight most often, and is the tallest one in the group. She's headstrong, and faces things with a very positive outlook. Ellie goes out of her way to be kind to others and tries her best to always help those in need.

Clara

Clara is part of the V5 squad, and is the youngest of all four members. She's a people pleaser and will do favors for basically anyone. She's a timid girl, but when she gets angry, that trait goes away. She grew up learning the piano, therefore influencing her to have a music-based weapon after she became a mercenary in the squad. Contrary to her being timid, she often forgets about dangers, and doesn't take too much precaution, putting her full trust in Vesper.

Married to Bennet and the headmaster of Aevis Academy and ABOO. He’s a wind spirit and has a usually calm demeanor but gets very excited when talking to and about Bennet or the students of the academy.
