Hi guys, my name is Astral! I'm the sole creator of my upcoming comic,

Craft Siblings: Return to The Studio!

Heavily inspired by both BABQFTIM and BABMOTM, but instead taking an entirely different direction with the story and ultimate goal of the main cast.

Taking place 2,000 years after a war that wiped out all of humanity, toons are the dominant species, and have created their own country called "Inkwell". Things aren't perfect here, many toons having to sell their souls to others in hopes of making it through life.

Legend says if you seek out the The Studio, the last remnant of human life, you could "rewrite" your story.

Follow Goob and Scraps as they journey across the country and it's many districts, trying to find away out of Inkwell, and deliver a very special "cargo" to the fabled Studio.

Final Scraps / Cuphead video before I finish up Chapter 1 of @return-to-the-studio!

Once Chapter 1 is done, I'm gonna focus primarily on Bendy and Alice content, with a bit of Boris and others sprinkled in!

Sometimes I kinda hate how long the "intro" to RTTS is. Like chapter 1 is primarily about how much Scraps hates her job. Chapter 2 is mostly gonna be about Bendy and Alice. Chapter 3 is when we actually get into the main storyline.

Ofc chapter 1 and 2 are fairly quick reads, but production takes while.

I've noticed that with 90% of these aus, they start straight with the map and ink machine and everything. Meanwhile mine started with Scraps being late to her waitressing job.

I know the build up will be worth it, but GODD I just wanna skip straight to the good part with fun panels and exciting dialogue and action.

I wanna skip to the reveal of bigger characters and to major plot twists. UGHH !!

All of these are chapters in what I call "Arc 1". Hoping by the end of Arc 1, I have a decent following.

I want people to read my story but I can acknowledge my story feels kinda boring compared to everyone else's. BUT I SWEAR GUYS !! WE'RE GETTING THERE !!

I feel like one of the things that's ultimately gonna be a bad move for RTTS, but one I won't budge on, is the relationship between Bendy and Cuphead.

They won't have a rivalry.

Well, they will, but not as big as they're normally portrayed.

I love how in their own respective canons, Bendy and Cuphead are playful pranksters with youthful personalities. I understand the whole point is "They hate eachother at first, but then they become best friends!" But I much rather like the dynamic that they never really hated each other to begin with.

Won't spoil too much, but while there will be some tension between the two, they definitely don't hate one another.

It's kinda funny how Scraps took on the rivalry position instead.

Bendy and Cuphead get along because they share so many positive traits.

Scraps and Cuphead bicker and fight because they share so many negative traits.

Shelly doodles BLEHH

She's not a main character, but she's pretty important within the first major arc of RTTS.

One of Dancifer's "Mains", she stays in the Labor District with a massive museum, displaying the wonders of life before Toons.

She adores fossils and everything dinosaur! But of course, she also has a fascination with my humans- she wishes she was one of the lucky toons alive to see them!

She tries to get as much info from Dandicus but..

He doesn't seem to like talking about that time in his life.

I don't exactly have perfect songs picked out for everyone just yet, so I'll answer this one ask more over time.

But I'll give you one!

Mugman's theme song would have to be Bohemian Rhapsody!

IM REALLY LIKING MOUSE P.I. !! Some lore after the cut

Jack Pepper and Rodger are old friends from the police force. However, the damn place is so corrupt, Jack left it and pursued being a Private Investigator.

He occasionally tries getting Rodger to quit too, but Rodger can't. There's too many Toons looking for a good detective to help them in a time of need- he can't leave them like that.

They sometimes look through casefiles together, though Rodger is far more of the brains between the two of them.

Jack Pepper isn't good with kids, so when Rodger has Toodles with him, Jack isn't really allowed around.

He's not all bad though.

After all, last time Jack was around kids, he managed to recruit them into the force. Gave them a good word, got them supplies, taught them what they needed for written exams in the academy.

Huh.

Makes you wonder where those two cup boys are now!

Cuphead sometimes begs Scraps to let him roll dice in her cup tail because of her natural luck.

"PLEASEEE we could win big right now! Think about all the money we could make- GIVE ME THE DAMN TAIL!"

"YOU'RE BEING WEIRD! LEAVE ME ALONE! FIND YOUR OWN CUP!"

Whenever she does cave his theory ends up being 100% correct. They all have potentials to be millionaires, but Scraps' constant refusal to use her luck keeps them pinching pennies.

Which one of your cast is the WORST with romantic signals? Like straight up clueless.

Oh my god this is such a cute question

Okay so first off, I gotta say right now, they all kinda suck. None of them have had the best romantic history and all of them are currently single. But I'm gonna rank them all from best to worst.

1. Alice. She's the best with signals mostly because she knows she's hot shit and flaunts it. She can pick up on signals pretty well, but she does have her moments where she's genuinely just oblivious.

2. Bendy. Immediate downgrade, he sucks with signals. But it's not in a "He doesn't know if someone's flirting with him" way, but more "He thinks everyone's flirting with him" way. A lovely lady can tell him to have a nice day and he's CONVINCED she's fawning over him.

3. Scraps. Poor girl has so many self esteem issues. She's confident in herself in certain areas, but her looks aren't one of them. Not to mention all her relationships have ended in disaster. If you're flirting with her she'll either think you're bullying her or just playing around, but her brain won't let her comprehend you're actually interested. Very clueless.

4. Mugman. Okay now we're getting into really bad territory. As much as the man looks for love, he sucks at identifying it when it's right in front of him. You need to say it loud and clear for him. No subtle "Let's grab dinner," or "Are you free?". NO. He will see it as purely platonic unless you say it DIRECTLY to him.

5. Cuphead. Cuphead's just kinda stupid honestly. He definitely grabs the attention of ladies, but his obliviousness (paired with general disinterest) leaves him completely single. Every relationship he's been in, he has to be the one pursuing, otherwise you'll get NOWHERE.

6. Goob. Oh my god don't even TRY. PLEASE. First off, even if he did notice, Goob's pretty disinterested in relationships. But let's say you shoot your shot- he will see it as platonic and nothing more. Even if you openly tell him it's a date, he won't understand. Even if you buy him flowers, chocolates, and plaster a big fat kiss on his cheek, it just won't process to him. Goob has to really like YOU romantically before he even begins to see any of your attempts as flirtatious.
