Summary:

Hermione Granger is desperate to get Hogwarts up and running again after the war. She wants to do a full renovation, add special courses, allow new regulations for muggle-borns and more. But despite being 'The Golden Girl', she's shite at getting the elite to spend their galleons on her cause. She's blunt and lacking in the social graces expected of someone of her status.

Draco Malfoy has just finished serving a 3 year term at Azkaban for his part in the war-a sentence that was only lowered because of Hermione's character witness at his trial. He sees her struggling to make the right impression amongst the upper-class wizarding community and offers to give her lessons in manners and etiquette associated with closing the deals she needs to secure her dreams.

But this isn't just any kind of arrangement.

They have 10 lessons between now and the social event of the year.

There's only 1 rule: For each lesson he gives her on how to act in public, she must return a favor of his choice.

“It’s final then, your disinheritance?” Hermione asked, cautious.

“Yes,” Pansy sighed, throwing a bent arm over her eyes in an act of blatant melodrama. “Mother never wants to see me again. While I’m no longer partial to her dreadful company, either, I will miss the Galleons dearly.” Her other arm fell from the settee to snag the corked bottle of elf-made merlot resting on the floor next to her. She waggled it by its neck. “Shall we drink?” 

Hermione got the distinct impression that Pansy’s cavalier attitude was mostly bravado, born out of an innately Slytherin need to preserve her dignity. She decided to humour her by summoning two of the crystal wine glasses Pansy had stolen from the Parkinson estate. They floated out of the kitchen and landed on the coffee table between them. Without so much as sitting up, Pansy followed Hermione’s lead, making a series of wand gestures that had the bottle uncorking itself and filling their glasses, the merlot flowing until it met the gilt rim of each glass. 

“To your bravery, Pansy.” Hermione lifted her drink in cheers. 

Pansy scoffed, righting herself. Crookshanks hopped from her lap and settled at her feet, curling around them. She grabbed her glass and downed it before saying, “Don’t make me out to be some bloody Gryffindor. Insult to injury, Granger.”

Hi everyone! I'm looking for a Dramione fic that I originally read on FanFiction.net. It was a WIP at the time, and I can't remember the title or author.

Here's what I remember:

Post-war AU.

The story opens from Draco's POV.

Draco is a Healer at St. Mungo's.

An unrecognizable female body is brought in, and Draco identifies it as Hermione because of her "Mudblood" scar.

Hermione wakes up, escapes St. Mungo's, climbs onto the roof, and jumps in front of Draco, Harry, and Ron.

Draco later realizes Hermione faked her death using another woman's body.

Sirius survived the war and secretly hides Hermione in one of his flats/safe houses.

Hermione had been secretly held captive and abused by Ron, who is the hidden villain.

Ron cursed Hermione so that whenever she tried to tell anyone he was responsible, she would begin choking and physically couldn't say his name.

Draco and Harry eventually realize Ron is the culprit because of Hermione's reaction whenever she tries to identify her attacker.

Does anyone recognize this fic? Even if it was deleted, renamed, or moved from FFN to AO3, I'd really appreciate any leads. Thank you!
