My partner Aren (he/him) is struggling severely because his bird Ollie was unexpectedly killed last month... we have always planned on moving in together since we were kids; Ollie has been out of his reach for so long because of his dedication to school, family, his career, and literally on our move in date when she was finally supposed to come up after 7 years of waiting she was killed by a hawk... his mother accidentally forgot to ziptie the bottom of her cage, she flew out the garage, and got killed.
