Just finished playing the Barret vs Dyne boss fight in FF7 Rebirth, and I truly loved it, especially the cutscene and how emotional it made me feel.

For context, I played with the JP dub, and Dyne's VA nailed it, same with Barret's. Dyne's clear mental decline is obvious through his voice and actions, as Barret tries to help his best friend even in his last moments made me almost cry. Even the facial reactions Barret does every time Dyne mentions Marlene is amazing. Also, I find certain parallels(?) interesting, how Barret is being able to heal with Marlene, Tifa, Jessie, Biggs, and Wedge by his side (+ Cloud, Aerith, and the others through the journey) while Dyne is left hollow, slowly losing it and having blood on his hands
