Porcelain fungus (Oudemansiella mucida)

These are gorgeous! They’re prolific and will often cover whole trees, as they release a powerful fungicide that prevents other fungi from taking root. 

Though rather insubstantial, they are edible. The season for them should be starting in about a month; I’m going to have my eye out for them.
