Open GPU Compute ROCm

So, I have recently discovered this piece of software that could replace CUDA and Nvidia in the GPU Machine Learning framework space. As of now it only runs on Ubuntu and Fedora. So, I will have to install a second OS on my machine.

If this works, I’m gonna be ecstatic and be dedicated to this software. I will be updating this page once I try it out.

Sometimes it can be very satisfying to look at the night sky especially when the supermoon is around. Not the best photo but it's quite interesting.

Archery tournament during the University of Nottingham Malaysia campus Nations Cup. Lucky shot. I managed to get this shot even though I was on a relatively slow shutter speed because it was a very cloudy day.

I recently invested in more things that would enhance my life. Now, I need to put them to proper use. Building up my portfolio and going to start freelancing. It's time for some drastic action. I spent a lot and I definitely need to build my bank balance back up.

The Art of Nicolas de Crécy

After studying at the Angoulême comics art school, Lyon-born Nicolas De Crécy made his debut in 1987 with ‘Bug Jargal’, an adaptation of a work by Victor Hugo in cooperation with Sylvain Chomet. He then worked with the French Walt Disney Studios for two years. Meanwhile, he found the time to make the highly acclaimed album ‘Foligatto’, scripted by fellow Angoulême school artist Alexios Tjoyas.

He teamed up with Chomet again and created 'Léon la Came’ in magazine À Suivre 1995, a masterful satire of the post-industrial society and neo-liberal madness. De Crécy also worked on Chomet’s feature film 'La Vieille Dame et les Pigeons’ (1998). De Crécy has since experimented with several genres and styles. He is the author of the playful black and white 'Monsieur Fruit’ series, the baroque full-color fantasy 'Bibendum Céleste’, the silent comic 'Prosopopus’ and the absurd anthropomorphic series 'Salvatore’. He made the futuristic 'Période glaciaire’ for Futoropolis and the Louvre Museum in 2005. Futuropolis also published his travelogue 'Journal d'un fantôme’ in 2007.
