It’s been a while since my last post, as I’ve been busy working on a project illustration.

yeaaah i know I literally finished the drawing when the showcase ended, buuuut… better late than never!!

Happy valentine's day!!! ❤️💙 I hope your day is filled with love and affection!!

This drawing required so much brainstorming that I need to share it:

I thought about maybe using his birthday outfit, but I didn't feel like it, so… I decided to design it myself!!! (I should mention that I haven't studied character design, so im a complete beginner at this) the first idea I had while I was almost asleep

I tried to mainly combine ribbon elements to represent gifts in general and skeletons. At first I even thought about trying to add something technological, but i failed 😢 And here's the most confusing character sheet:

Fun fact: I wanted the number of bows in his hair to match the average human's number of vertebrae, but when I saw it was around 33, I was like oh hell no

So I had the idea to put him on top of a chocolate box. But I still wanted to keep the skeleton theme, so I looked for references AND FOUND NONE (maybe im incompetent) So I had to create the initial concept for the box and MODEL it in Blender (graphic design college shining)

And so the illustration was made!! It was made with great dedication to express my love for you all! ☺️☺️
