It’s finally here!! Take a look at Familiar Keepsakes, our fandom’s collaborative zine! With the theme of ‘Family,’ we wish to impart how much Ghost Hunt has brought us all together to make one big ole family, just as how the SPR gang has formed lifelong ties with each other 💖

A short note on the files:

1. The [reading copy] is meant to be read digitally. The pages have been ordered so as to emulate the appearance of a zine, but please do not print this. 2. The [printing copy] has been set for back-to-back printing on A4 paper. If you do not have a border-less printing feature on your printer, scale the file down to 90~95% so that nothing will be cut out. If you need help with this, message @rmnitb​​  2a. After printing the zine, you can bind it using several methods. You may find tutorials online.

[Ghost Hunt Short Stories Collection, Vol. 1]

It's finally here!! Sorry for the delay!! I've decided to post the first volume for now since the second is still under way, and the third will only be posted once the second is up.

It's Noll and Gene's birthday after all, and what better way to spend the day than to cry over the twins while reading their stories~

[Layout version guide]

I made two layout types: (1) for reading on any device capable of opening pdf files, and (2) for back to back printing on A4 paper.

The first layout type is a simple pdf that you can read using whichever pdf app or program you prefer to use.

The second layout type is further divided into two kinds, but only the cover differs: one is colored and the other is b/w. You may print either of these depending on the ink available to you. The content of both versions are the same. (I suggest printing the cover on glossy board paper, around 120gsm, to make it all sparkly~ the other pages can be printed on regular 60~80gsm paper)

[Printing guide]

Be mindful of margins as normal printers do not print until the edges. You may scale down the document's size to 90% or 85%

Print either of the files labelled "for printing" as you normally would on your printer, BACK-TO-BACK ON A4 PAPER

Make sure that the pages are in the correct order (refer to the printing copy pdf, the order should be exactly the same)

Fold the stack in half to prepare the booklet for binding. You may also fold each piece of paper individually to make it neater, just make sure to put the pages back in order

Bind the booklet using a long-arm stapler if you have one, or using and some thread. It's pretty easy to do, there's a lot of tutorials online. Just search "zine binding tutorial"

After binding, cut off the edges using a cutter and ruler

You're done!!

CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS!! GHOST HUNT ZINE

Are you a Ghost Hunt fan? Do you continue to create and subscribe to fan content despite the series having ended several years ago? Has this fandom become a family of sorts for you, just as the SPR gang eventually became a family as well?

If you answered yes to all these questions, this zine is for you! 

To commemorate our fandom’s first collaborative zine, the theme is: FAMILY. 

We accept previously unpublished Ghost Hunt fanworks of prose, poetry and visual art that utilize the family theme. (It doesn’t have to be literal. You may interpret the theme any way you want.)

Limits (works should not go over) : Prose - 3000 words Poetry - 30 lines Artwork - A5-sized, colored and b/w (2 versions required) 

Submit your pieces to [email protected] with the subject line “GHZINE - [TITLE] - [AUTHOR/ARTIST]” on or before June 1, 2020, 11:59PM (EST), .docx or .rtf / .png file formats only. The zine will be available to everyone by July 2020. You will be able to keep it as a PDF, or print it on A4 paper if you’d like a physical copy for yourself

I think the title means Akuryou Behind the Scenes. And the description says something like:

Includes a booklet published in Winter 2016 + manga sketches uploaded on Twitter 2016 - 2019 + several short manga, and a short episode of a drafted original story from the original author Ono Fuyumi sensei (a story taking place after the Yoshimi family incident)

The Yoshimi family was the family from Volume 6 Don’t Call Me an Evil Spirit, otherwise known as The Cursed House

2020 Ghost Hunt Fanworks Weekend! April 18th & 19th

GHHQ’s Fifth Annual Fanworks weekend!

What is it?

Each year GHHQ hosts a Ghost Hunt fanworks event. In the past we have done an exchange where folks worked to craft a work specifically for another participant. This year we are changing things up a bit…

How to participate?

Submit prompts: Between now and February 14th submit prompt ideas to GHHQ. We will gather them all up and make a master prompt post for the event. 

Pick a prompt: Choose from the list of prompts and make a fan work based on it. 

Submit your finished work: Please submit your work by end of day April 17th so that it can be scheduled for release. Please include which prompt you are doing so we can include that in the post. 

Enjoy yourselves!
