a headcanon: the reason why the lantern festival is the one & only festivity xiao ever partakes in is that he gets to write down the wishes and desires that he was forced to consume, onto lanterns that would be released into the sky for them to come true.

additionally, xiao is good at calligraphy and he makes sure that every wish is written nicely with meticulous care because he thinks it’s what his victims deserve after all that he’s done.

In Defense of Eula

I’ve already seen some stuff regarding Eula’s family, the infamous Lawrence Clan. They were... not the best people, to say the least. But Eula had nothing to do with what they did hundreds of years ago during Mondstadt’s age of nobles, and the way I see it, she seems unhappy to be associated with them. One of Eula’s idle animations is her angrily crushing her family’s crest in her palm.

She also mentions being labeled as a pariah in the trailer, which is defined as follows:

I can’t speak to her character for certain, we haven’t met her in game yet. So I can’t guarantee anything, but I’m just asking that you give her a fair chance before reducing her to nothing more than her family name.
