im gen so pissed at ego.. he needs to remember that hes like one of the youngest in the room?? (i think) obvs hes not gonna be like his brother in one goal like hello??? youre 30 and hating on 16 year olds and smashing tvs in front of them like youre not any better ego fucker
like obvs its not isagis fault either and isagi is one of my favs as well, but his plot armor is fucking insane??? rin's been at the top since hes played with aryu and toki in season 2, yes isagi was tied with him but rin's been at the top for way longer than he has. i swear ego be playing favs like um.. bench aiku?? igaguri defends better than him (i gen cant hate anyone in blue lock bro i love them all but still)
and then everyone switching up on rin?? thats fucking insane, ik we got over kaiser already but hes like 19?? rin's 16 bruh, "rins fault" "rinmisstoshi" "rinbenchtoshi" okay and sae is on his fat ass sitting on the couch and people (me sometimes) STILL glaze his ass
no hate to any of the chars here EXCEPT EGO.. like pls i thought anri made blue lock happen why is edna here bro?? we need anri to rule blue lock again, shes stunning, strong and everything ego isnt
Personally if you ask me, I'd say that Rin really needs to stop obsessing over Sae because that's the main reason he's getting benched for.
Rin is my most favourite character and I'll always support him no matter what. But the only fault of his is that his only reason to play soccer is to beat his brother. At first it was ok since it made him ambitious and work hard but now the situation has changed.
Ego said in the last chapter "You guys lost the match because there was an error. Because one of you didn't truly believe the fact that you have to be the No1 striker." And it was clear he was pointing to Rin. The only reason Rin is playing football is to beat Sae. But he has to understand Sae's a midfielder, he's a striker. And as he'll move forward he'll eventually see there are more players who are better than Sae. So if he just keeps on dwelling the fact that he only needs to beat Sae, he won't be able to stay as the no.1 for long.
That's why I think Ego is furious with Rin. He's furious because Rin hasn't actually realised what's the true meaning of being the no.1.
Also just because I'm saying this doesn't mean I don't support him. I understand his pov and why he wants to beat Sae but my personal opinion? He should aim higher. Sae's just a big fish in the sea, not the biggest.
ANYWAYS, I still think benching him was unfair. It's true that Rin needs to come to his senses but he has achieved A LOT till now to be treated like this. And how's everyone so sure that Isagi could have definitely scored if Rin didn't steal the ball? Isagi could have missed too!
Tbh I personally think the haters are just jealous of Rin because he was always perfect, unlike their favourite players. So now that he has fumbled once, they're all just hating him to make their favourite characters look better..
BUT if benching Rin will lead to his character development, I don't mind him getting benched. I just hope Kaneshiro won't let us down! Just like he brought Nagi and Kunigami back, I hope Rin will return as a much stronger player!
(This is just my way of consoling myself. I'm praying for a character development now.)
