"Man, things have been pretty quiet over here. Where are all you lovely ladies at?"
Ariel laughed. "Aw, is poor Flynnie bored? Sounds like you need to have a little fun."
"Want to have an adventure? Maybe stir up a little trouble? Things are getting boring around here too. Eric's away doing business with some Spanish king and the kingdom couldn't be more peaceful if it had some warm milk and a lullaby."

Musical Melodies (Ariel & Eric)
Ariel giggled. “I’ll try not to, but I think that fame stuff is pretty easy to get lost in," she said with an amused voice. She sighed happily at the forehead kiss Eric gave her. When the moment was over, she looked at the flute and played a few more notes. She had an idea.
"Hey, why don’t you play and I sing?!" she asked. “That way we can combine our talents and become a big ball of musical genius!" she stopped for a second and blushed slightly. “Well, you’ll be the musical genius. I’ll just be along for the ride." she laughed again and handed him the flute.
"Here, you start playing and I’ll sing once I find the melody."
He picked up the flute at her words and nodded, “That sounds like a great idea." Eric agreed.
"We’re both musical geniuses, just in different ways." He smiled. He placed his fingers on the flute accordingly then nodded at Ariel. "All right, jump in whenever you’re ready."
Placing the flute at his lips he began to start a melody off random, maybe this could be another song of theirs that they create together. He had to admit he had never had this much fun playing his instrument alone. He was glad to have Ariel here.
She laughed. "You're the musical genius, hun," she joked. "I'm just along for the ride."
When he started to play, Ariel barely had to think of something to sing. It just came to her.
"Oh, just look, it's like my life is a storybook!
Oh, it's bliss, I dreamed that it would be somewhat,
but not, like this!
Look over there, oh my God, how very odd, and what might they be,
something splendid maybe?
Look over here, could you bust, isn't it just bedazzing, dazing, utterly amazing, gazing 'round it's like to die!
Just seeing it feels so good, I'd scream if I only could!"
She stopped and blushed. It wasn't like that was a completely new song-she'd made it up when she was in the palace, those couple years ago. It had just been like a dream to her.
"Was that any good?" she asked.
A New Start (OPEN)
Ariel bit her lip for a second. Obviously she’d tapped into a delicate subject for Cinderella. Whoops.
"I can’t even imagine what it’s like," she replied honestly. There was a long pause. Then she remembered what they had been talking about before this.
"Alright, I’ll teach you how to sneak. But you must know that it requires you to be the stealthiest princess in all the land. Which means…" she kicked her shoes off. “No shoes." shoes were loud and could give you away almost instantly. Ariel had learned that the hard way, when she’d moved into the palace with Eric.
"And you have to walk on your tiptoes, like this," she continued, walking delicately on the balls of her feet. “And you gotta walk really slow, like this." she demonstrated, walking with her back forward and her head down, looking around like she would when she would play hide and seek with Sebastian or Scuttle.
"Here, you try it," she said, stepping back to give Cinderella some space.
Cinderella’s eyebrows shot up, her lips pulled together in a slight pout and she shook her head. “No shoes?" She licked her lips nervously and pulled up her ballgown so the rim showed off her beautiful red with gold accented shoes. They were the newest addition to her collection, and she adored them. Cinderella had an affinity for shoes. They were the one splurge she really allowed herself to have. She could wear the same old dresses, but shoes were important.
With a slight whimper, Cinderella curled her toes into her shoes while Ariel demonstrated. “Do I have to?" She asked her. “I can walk on my tiptoes in these just fine." She demonstrated, but they made a small clacking noise causes Cinderella to cringe.
Ariel laughed. Strangely enough, even though she had been fascinated with shoes after she'd just gotten her legs, she liked being barefoot much more. It was a bit easier to walk that way.
"I don't think that will work, Cinderella. They're gonna hear the shoes! Take them off. You can put them right back on afterwards, I promise." she paused, then grinned devilishly. Her blue eyes were mischievous. "If you want to learn how to sneak like the master, you gotta make a few sacrifices. Can you do it?"

She took the flute from her husband and tried the first few notes of the song. It didn’t sound great, but it was a sound. She grinned.
"I did it! I played it! Okay, gotta play more." she put the instrument and blew out a few more notes, which, while hoarse and quiet, were notes all the same.
"This is so easy," she said to herself. “I don’t know why it was so complicated before. Wow." she played even more. The sound that came out was starting to become more melodious. It sounded…sort of good. She finished playing with a flourish and bowed, pretending to blow kisses to her adoring fans.
"Thank you, thank you, I’ll be here all week!" she joked. She turned to Eric. “This is so much fun!"
He smiled as he watched her play the flute, he could tell how in tune she was with the music. She had surprised him with the flourish of notes that came out, they sounded better than before. She was definitely a fast learner.
"Told you, you were thinking too hard." He said after she commented about how easy it was. He continued to watch her in awe and he was so proud of her.
Eric chuckled as she bowed and blew kisses, he pretended to catch one. Then he went over to her and wrapped an arm around her waist pulling her closer to him. “Don’t forget me when you’re big and famous, all right?" He teased, placing a kiss on her forehead.

She grinned. “Well I’m honored, my handsome prince," she replied. “Because it’s my favorite song."
She watched as her husband played the song. It was a complicated tune that had a melodic and sweet ring to it-it was innocent and free. When he was finished, Ariel clapped.
"It’s amazing! How do you even remember a song like that after so long? I might just have to steal your musical genius, sir," she joked playfully. It was amazing to have someone who loved music as much as she did. And someone who was as handsome as Eric. And as sweet. And as funny.
"Here, can you teach some of that song to me? Or maybe an easier song? I know I can do this if I try harder," she said determinedly.
"I’m glad you liked it." he said with a smile. “When you’ve played a song so many times it’s hard to forget." he paused for a moment, getting a bit lost in thought, it was sort of like riding a bike- you don’t forget.
At her joke he laughed, “You don’t have to steal mine, you have your own. I guarantee it." Taking a seat on one of the chairs, he held the flute in his hands, looking at it as she spoke.
At her request to teach her the song he nodded, “We can break the song in to bits…We probably won’t get to play the whole song right away, but we could definitely cover the intro." He explained. Putting the flute to his lips he played the beginning slowly, beckoning Ariel to come closer to watch his technique as his fingers went across the instrument.
"Your turn." Eric said with a smile passing the flute back to her.
