Mari Stottlemeyer, child of a wanted conman, was on the run again. However, this time was different. The will of her estranged Uncle found them, and she has inherited his legacy: 6 living robots in a giant mechanical manor, tucked in the dark cold town of Arcane Reach, where the rain never stops. While her father tries to spin this into a get-rich-quick scheme, Mari and her new mechanical cousins start to unravel their family's dark history and the mystery surrounding her uncle's untimely death.
Sci-fi comedy about a girl and her weird robotic extended family.
This is a project I have been working on in private since 2017, and began uploading pages in March 2022.

Current Comic February 2025 update:
Bad news from the zones, Tumbleweeds... We are on a longer hiatus than anticipated. It's not forever, but I am unsure of when pages will continue. I really really badly burnt out, and after 4+ years of only doing Living Machines I just need to work on something else. And I am!!
I'm currently writing a fantasy novel called Red. It's a fantasy adventure starring a young fox who lost his village to a demonic parasitic creature called a beast and his vows to avenge his family while trying to rebuild the life he lost and figure out what it truly means to be a hero.
Thank you all who had stuck around for so long with Living Machines, and trust me, I will pick it back up someday! But I really just need a break, and I'm really excited for y'all to experience Red, I think you'll like it!
Tales of Elgrai: Red (Description)
Ruaidri was only a young boy of 10 years when the demonic parasitic creature known as a Beast ripped through his home, leaving him as the last survivor of the Red Fox village.
Years later, Ruaidri has managed to find a place to call home once again. Now the apprentice of a crabby, but kind-hearted innkeeper, Ruaidri is beginning to pull the pieces of his shattered life back together as the seedy bounty hunting bar known as the Valer Madres becomes his new home.
What Ruaidri never anticipated, was the horrible demon returning and it was here to destroy everything he loved.
With the help of the eccentric regulars of the Valer Madres- a bitter magician, A fiery horseback archer, a cheery Beast-User thief, and the mysterious hooded regular who had been there longer than anyone, Ruaidri has vowed to avenge his family and kill the horrible Double-Bladed Beast. Before it kills him and everyone he loves.
