Really happy to be part of this zine! This was a challenging peice and I wish I did better on some parts but I’m glad it’s done!

Diamond paintings! I love painting them and wanted to explore the notion of them without powder. I think I could have tried to go for a more transparent look but I couldn’t really get that to work well. Not really a composition thing... but I realized that if I take my time and blend, the effect is really nice. Makes me really appreciate paintings more... there’s so much time just spent on the small details... art is really an act of patience and perseverance.

My DnD Tiefling Warlock Pact of the Chain modeled after Noctis. Lately, I ran into a bit of trouble... realizing that using my familiar was causing everyone including the DM to be annoyed. I kind of wished I picked a different pact.... ; _ ; but I’m glad everyone’s troubles are finally aired. In other thought... i think pact of the blade would have been a better choice.... at least the one shot is ending soon...... Artwise, i think i’m happy that I’m doing more full-body drawings! I’ve always defaulted to portraits and stuff so i’m glad I’m able to do some stuff that don’t look too terrible...

... reflecting on what Aechema said that Cairngorm and his “mental illness” was the last thing that needed to go... i felt that was a direct reference to Ghost and suddenly i miss him so much again.

I think out of all the gems, ghost was the most empathetic... gentle and patient with Phos. Even tho Ghost really only interacted with Phos because of Lapis... I’d like to think that Ghost was probably one of the few gems that genuinely wanted to help. Him being mentioned as Cairngorm’s “illness” made me feel so sad...

DAmn... this is becoming a houseki no kuni blog isn’t it... when is season 2 ever going to come out??? or chapter 89 for that matter???

Tried to do this one as quick as i could bc there’s other things i need to do so I could’ve polished it up and changed the composition, but naw, it’s just an art vomit because wow i love phos and all their phases.

I love a good revenge story, even if it’s super tragic. I hope Aechema gets what he deserves in some way though... i wouldn’t feel satisfied if he doesn’t get punished in some way ahahahaaaa;;;;;

dreaming of warmer days~

I live in a perpetually foggy and cold-ish city so sometimes I really miss warmer weather. I’m really not sure how I feel about this piece... like I feel good about it but also kinda meh? I really want my style to be darker and edgier (lol) but I felt like this is more of my comfort zone. Lighting could use some work, but I don’t know how to make it better at this point. Any critique would be helpful! Drawn on Surface Pro using Clip Studio Paint
