“I….I…” He rubbed at his face. “I’m okay…I promise…everything’s just peachy….I…..just been thinking a lot lately and it’s making things very hard to do…..because I don’t feel like doing anything anymore. I know I should feel happy and everything but yet I feel more miserable than ever before. I don’t know what’s the matter with me.”

“Its okay to feel miserable sometimes, At times you just need to cry and let it out.”

He gently places his hand on Nicks cheek and pulls towards himself to look Nick in the eyes.

“Sometimes a good cry is just what you need to feel better. I cry all the time..it helps keep yourself balanced. ”

Leaning in he placed a sweet kiss on Nicks cheek and held him while rubbing his back.

“ No we will both go together and look as a couple, but I’ll handle everything else. You worry about the house. And shut up. Like I said being a parent doesn’t come with a manual”.

He side stepped and quickly went for his laptop to start researching wayward homes in the area with a skip in his step and a smile on his face. He was excited to become a parent and it showed.

“Aahhhh….” He groaned as he ran a hand down his face. “The things I put up with….but guess there’s no other way…eh? Okay…..it’s just a kid, after all. No need to get upset about it, me?” He smiled as he started to pick up. Everything seemed happy, Ado was happy, so he should be too. Just the presence of his father’s teaches loomed over his head. But if the orphan could find joy in this, then it couldn’t be too. It’s not like he had a positive influence as well. “Hey….you….you will stop me….right? If I get too bad?”

He quickly brushed Nicks worry aside and began searching online ...but quickly slammed the laptop shut and tossed it in the couch..clearly seeing something upsetting.

“The first step in any new venture is taking the courage to try..we’re going to be fine. Now shall we get started?”

He patted Nicks chest and slowly started to pull himself off the ground and then helped Nick off the ground as well.

“Now then the problem is finding a place to adopt from. And making a game plan to show that our home is safe enough to raise a child. This is going to be complicated for a little bit but the end result is going to be so worth it. Are you ready?”

He held out his hand to Nick with an expression of pure confidence.

“I…..” He sighed in mock defeat as he was pulled off from the ground. “I guess you are right…” He looked at him and then gave him  tired little smile as he stuffed his hands into his pockets. “I guess…that’s all on you…since well you seemed to be more excited about it. I’ll get the house in some what order…oh and you are looking, mister. No bringing home any of them….they aren’t like cats …that can be picked blindly…we nee to both approve of this kid….not like it matters…I’m bound to fuck up sooner or later.”

“I know but I was thinking you wouldn’t like the idea and it will get drop. Not for you to actually take it seriously, let alone like it….uuugghhh.” He pushed him away only to put his head on the other’s lap. “uggghhhh..” He groan. “Why did I think this was even a good idea?”

He looked down curiously on his precious man and started rubbing Nick’s back.

“Well, that should be obvious, its clearly something you want but you dont have the courage to see it through. You’re afraid of being like your father and scared of what might happen.. But you know, I’m here with you , you’re not alone and i dont plan on starting something like this and just leaving you . I know for a fact you would be a good dad because you know what not to do ..And personally i like the idea of a second little bastard in my life” 

He chuckled and leaned down to plant a kiss on Nicks cheek as he sensually held Nick close.

“Besides , Having someone to take care of,nurture and watch grow up can be more than fulfilling and can really mature a person. Nobody is an expert of children,parenting doesn’t come with a manual but you just need to be sure that you can make sure that the child has everything they need to grow up safe and happily…I want to see you be an amazing dad…You’re more than an amazing husband already.”

Nick was left spaceless by the others words. He looked down at his hands for a moment thinking over things. “…….that’s sweet and junk….but don’t you think you are laying it a bit too thick, love? I’m really not THAT amazing. This whole family sort of deal is new to me…and I can’t promise anything. I can’t promise I’ll be a good dad…I never really had a dad before…I wouldn’t know the first thing of being a dad would be like. But I can try…”

He turns his attention to the young enough looking women , his facial expression giving away his ‘cluelessness’

“Eh-..As a matter of fact i am , and i can’t make ‘heads or tales’ of this map i was given . But i do believe i am in the right neck of the woods, i received what i think is a deed to a farm in the mail not to long ago…and it told me that when i needed a change of scenery ..that i should come..here? i think. i’m honestly not too sure anymore. I just hiked for two days straight to get here.”

He was noticeably tired but still had some energy in him that emanated in the way he spoke with a subtle hint of joy.

     “ A farm? Well, this farm and the ranch where ya get livestock round’ here is the only farms in this town. Perhaps you are mistaken. You sure you’re supposed to be here for it? “

While Muna wasn’t fully acquainted with this surrounding areas, she had no clue where another farm would even fit in Pelican Town.

"Are there any vacant building around Pelican Town? I have an idea that might solve this problem."

He said with a smile at the girl.

The Tyrant shifted himself inside his throne, crossing his metal leg over one another. Awaiting to hear the reasoning why someone has come to bother him. (Tyrant!Repomorame.)

Looking around the dimly lit throne room he was enthralled by the designs and ...slightly creepy artwork that seemed to litter the wall..it all had a narcissistic undertone to it all. He then turned his attention to the metallic royalty that cast his gaze down onto him.

“I’m..not even sure how i got here, This doesn’t seem to be the kind of place that i would like to hang around. “

Potentially provoking the royalty he grabbed his sketch book from its strap on his hip and readied himself for the dogs but instead of remaining silent he continued .

“Just what is this place? and who are you?”

He flipped open his sketchbook quickly  after making note of the very big man readying himself for a fight,The size of the man and his axe ...and even his horns..made him uneasy..he was just as confused as these people must have been but wasn’t  sure he would last long in a fight against someone so big..with numbers backing him up. He took a deep breath to catch his nerve and try and take it all in..it was all so sudden..

“I’m ...not sure..where am I? Whats the date?”

He poked trying to redirect the tension into another light..a fight wasn’t something he was sure he could handle after the draining trip he assumed he had..it was all fuzzy in his mind..

Battle Born Of A New Kind

A surge of supernatural energy ominously tore a hole in time, but as soon as it was formed it was gone but not before the energy overloaded and imploded into itself destroying itself as a rather young looking man and a lone dingy looking black book fell through and hit the ground hard with a bound. 

“Aaah! …Oof!”

He shouted as he hit the ground, conscious but weak from what he had just went through and the impact and so he took a moment and stayed on the ground face first in the dirt before he took a deep breath and whinced as he peeled himself up to regain his composure . He slowly panned the area around him and noticed that he wasn’t alone and as he was unsure of where he was he quickly grabbed his book and back flipped to his feet..staggering noticeably as he landed but didnt say anything to the people around him.

Well that was.. something. He didn’t quite understand the circumstances of which the other had fallen quite literally a few feet away from him. Perplexed, he takes a step, weapon in a hand while the other gripped at the grenade firmly hooked to a hip. The rest of the party certainly shared his sentiment of confusion- yet it seemed Iron Bull would have to be the one to be on the front line this time. Boots stepped carefully against the gravelly soil, jaw clenched, as he began to prepare himself for the worst.  “You uh- alright there?”

Did this person fall out of a fade rift? It seemed so. But.. they were no demon? Or Spirit?
