Positivity for Jean, please? I regret not doing more for Marco, and also being a prissy bag of dicks to Eren and literally everyone honestly. I just wanted to be respected and I guess the only way I thought that possible was to flaunt whatever little success I had. I just feel like an asshole and while perhaps I definitely am, I need reassurance that just maybe, I did something right.

Of course, Jean.First things first, it’s always okay to want to be respected. Different people have different ways of expressing that they wish to be respected and appreciated, and you had your own, unique way of expressing it! It may have caused some strain at times, but no matter what, Eren, and everyone else, still cared for you!I want you to know that you are, most definitely, deserving of respect. Your skill as a leader, a soldier, and a friend were second to none, and people could see that in you. Your outwards personality was a coverup of insecurities, a want to be appreciated. And that’s totally okay. It happens to the best of us.As for wanting to do more for Marco, I’m sure that, whoever your canonmate Marco ends up being, they’ll believe you did more than enough for them. Personally, I think that my Jean, whoever he is, always did more than enough to help me. You were supportive and kind underneath your cocky demeanour, and that was what people saw in you. They can see that inner kindness.You were a strong and compassionate leader, because you knew what it was to feel inferior and be weak. I think I'm kin with a non-canon titan shifter... I dont even read or watch attack on titan anymore...

I think that’s super cool!Even if you don’t keep up with the series anymore, sometimes you can find yourself picking up kins that you never expected you would. In my opinion, being non canon is pretty awesome too! It’s interesting to see how many people have developed canons even when not included in the original source!My advice is to not be disheartened by it at all! If you feel like you need to confirm anything, why don’t you rewatch parts of the series that you enjoy and see if it sparks any memories for you? That’s what I do sometimes!
