Love is Life, is Divine, is Truth! And you originated from that Very Love, Unconditional Love of the Mother/Father Source Creator! Let's explore these topics together! I also invite you to allow the participation and perspective of your Higherself, Spirit Guides, Ascended Ancestors and Oversoul!
Is Sex Sacred? Does it depend on your perspective or belief system? Does it depend on your level of awareness and healing?
Generally speaking, I would give a resounding yes to each of these questions! However, which this also holds true for the experience of duality, it will vary based on the perspective, experience and healing of the individual! Each of us has the ability to experience ourselves, others and sex in a degraded, seperated fashion and any state in between leading to remembrance and unity consciousness. The great thing is the experience of separation is only a temporary experience! The sexual energy union of all 3D beings collectively has been distorted and repressed to the point that we as a collective have shamed sexual union. To shame union is to shame Unity Consciousness. We pass down that shame and guilt in viscous cycles that are hard to break originating in unfair preferential treatment and discrimination towards our own children? Not sure if our society does this? Look at how boys are treated differently from girls in households having children of both sexes. We live in a society where parents are afraid to let their female children go to social gatherings because they may be mistreated or even raped by the very boys that live in their neighborhoods and go to the same school. Yet the parents of these males are not likely to teach the boys to respect females as their sisters or even human beings. The average Father laughs at the idea of how many girls their son’s may sleep with, not understanding that energetically any disrespect to another person can only be done from an energy of disliking and disrespecting one’s self. These types of behaviors were not tolerated or encouraged in Native Villages where they held an awareness of Unity Consciousness and Fellowship. The situation described above is just one example of many. To my awareness, this is the result of a conquering, warring energy of trauma and separation consciousness that requires healing. This is an energetic cycle I have encountered during my observation, experience, research and healing as a certified Reiki & Alchemy Healer.
For example, to help us further explore the question: Is Sex Sacred? Let’s look at an excerpt from Neale Donald Walsch, author of Conversations with God:
"Sex is sacred... joy and sacredness do mix (they are, in fact, the same thing), and many of you think they do not.
Your attitudes about sex form a microcosm of your attitudes about life. Life should be a joy, a celebration, and it has become an experience of fear, anxiety, 'not enough-ness,' envy, rage, and tragedy. The same can be said about sex.
You have shamed sex, even as you have shamed life, calling it evil and wicked, rather than the highest gift and the greatest pleasure.
Before you protest that you have not shamed life, look at your collective attitudes about it.
Four-fifths of the world’s people consider life a trial, a tribulation, a time of testing, a karmic debt that must be paid, a school with harsh lessons that must be learned, and, in general, an experience to be endured while awaiting the real joy, which is after death.
It is a shame that so many of you think this way. Small wonder you have applied shame to the very act which creates life.
The energy which underscores sex is the energy which underscores life; which is life!
The moral codes, religious constrictions, social taboos, and emotional conventions you have placed around sex (and, by the way, around love—and all of life) have made it virtually impossible for you to celebrate your being.
Sex is an extraordinary expression of love— love of another, love of Self, love of life. You ought to therefore love it! (And you do—you just can’t tell anyone you do; you don’t dare show how much you love it, or you’ll be called a pervert. Yet this is the idea that is perverted.)
For now... simply know this: I have given you nothing shameful, least of all your very body, and its functions. There is no need to hide your body or its functions —nor your love of them, and of each other.
Your television programs think nothing of showing naked violence, but shrink from showing naked love. Your whole society reflects that priority."
