It's the commemoration of St. Elizabeth the New Martyr of Russia. (July 17 OS)

Born a German princess, widowed when her husband the Grand Duke Sergei of Russia got blown to smithereens in front of her, sold all her possessions and gave it to the poor, became a nun and lived the monastic life, got arrested by political opposition, thrown in a deep mineshaft where they tossed grenades in after her. They waited for her to die but she just kept chanting church hymns. When they went to retrieve the bodies, it was found that while gravely injured herself, St. Elizabeth tore up her monastic habit in order to bandage one of the men who were with her.

So the demon wears a pharoah's headdress because it's supposed to recall the Israelites' plight in Egypt when they were enslaved. The demons seek to enslave us in the passions by planting thoughts in our head and our deliverance can only be found through Christ and his holy crucifixion.
