Over the last week we’ve been completing odd jobs!

Front bedroom is completed (just need to cork the skirting) ready for carpets and final touch up paint when ready!

Last coat of paint on the cupboard doors! Dodging the weather and wind was challenging this time round! But it’s all done 👌

Maybe some light touch ups here and there when dried!

Cabinets are in 💪 super duper happy with the result!

After 8 hours, 1 once bright yellow microfibre and 4 rolls of kitchen roll everything is sanded.

Wet and dry sanding is the worst, let’s hope this tedious process has given us the best chance at a flawless finish 🤞🤞🤞

In LOVE with the sink and tap 💪

First side and coat done on ALL kitchen cabinetry!

Super excited to see what it turns out like when dry!

We have made a drying rack which is completely full inside a (hopefully) dust free environment inside the plastic wrapped cage 😂

We are looking for a flawless finish on these cabinets!

Cleaning and grouting went super well today!

Apart from when I dropped the full bag of Grout like the clumsy goose I am and now have to go get more to finish the shower 🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠

Late to update!

Had a long weekend off and forgot to post the whole of last week!

Cistern and Toilet is in and fully working 💪

Tilling has been finished including the end caps for the stud wall which looks absolutely insane and josh sacrificed a finger to sand them down to a beautiful bevelled edge! 💪

Sink waste has been drilled! Had to do this twice as the first time round we bent the drill bit 👀👀 The sink and Tap hole has been cut out of the countertop and it all fits and looks Insane! 💪

Panels on and off in this house like it’s a circus!

It’s going to look so good when it’s finished, we’ve got the sink waste drilled and the cistern in and tested!

Waiting for silicon to dry before getting the toilet, Bath panel, kick board, cupboard doors and countertop in place!

Sink hole is hopefully being cut tomorrow

Hopefully tilling should be done by the end of the week 🤞🤞

We’ve been busy! (as always)

We found that our floorboards are too messed up to use 3mm hardboard and screw&glue!

Unfortunately that had to be ripped up and the floor had to be stripped!

We used 5mm plywood screw&glue and this has worked a treat!

Gaps are filled and Skirting is on!

Josh has made a canny little device to keep the skirting in place while the glue dries!

Architrave is on! Well, one doorway anyway!

Radiator is getting fitted today and the cistern has been put in! ✔️💪

Oh and sanding and filling the kitchen is proving a long task! Can tell josh is sick of plastering at this point 😂😂👀

We’ve waterproofed the plaster for the new tiles to go on!

We’ve re sanded and re primed the stairs

Still waiting for paint to dry! It’s never ending!! 🫠

Josh has been repairing the plasterboard and tiles around the worktop where they were damaged in the process of moving things

Super excited to see some colour on something, albeit grey!

Last trip to the paint shop today as we opened the tin and it was green?!?!

Hopefully in the daylight these bad bois will look beautiful!
