“Caffeine seems like the more plausible of those two options” Marina laughed, nodding a minute later. “That’s definitely true. I had a job as a waitress in high school and the work was almost as tiring but nowhere near as satisfying.”

Audrey grinned. “Sometimes I forget how lucky I am to do what I love for a living. I can't imagine what my life would be like if I had a typical 9 to 5 job.”

Audrey smiled weakly as her coworker yawned. “Guess I’m not the only one here completely exhausted.”

“You’re definitely not the only one” Marina laughed, smiling in return and shaking her head. “If there’s anyone who’s not exhausted after that, I’d be willing to bet they have some sort of superpowers.”

“Just some guy my cousin knows.” Casey answered, shrugging a little. “It’s not like a date or anything.” she added quickly, shaking her head. “He’s a photographer and he needed a dancer for some project he’s working on.”

“Good luck, hopefully the pictures turn out well.” Audrey remarked. “So, Anna’s watching Maria tonight?”

“So, I heard through the grapevine that you’ve got a very special… meeting tonight.” Audrey smiled knowingly. She was happy for her friend, but that didn’t mean she couldn’t tease them about it.

“Well I wouldn’t exactly call it special.” Casey answered, laughing a little. “Just the normal everyday kind of meeting, really.”

Audrey looked up from her stretching and smiled. “Nothing major happened, but you should ask Casey about choreography. How was your trip?”

“That’ll be my first port of call.” She told Audrey when she suggested she get the new choreography. Beth stood and grabbed the barre against the nearest wall, beginning her stretches. She made a face when Audrey asked about the trip. “The usual, my mother spent half the trip pushing the Royal Ballet on me. ‘Audition season is coming, Bethany, you could live right here in Greenwich, Bethany, I’m just terribly worried about the crime rate in Boston, Bethany’.” Beth continued stretching, putting one foot up on the barre and bending over to touch her toes. “But I got to watch the football with my sister in the pub we used to go to every Sunday for lunch, that was fun.” She commented.

“The same happens with my mother when I go to San Francisco. On top of that, she knows many of the people in those companies and then invites them to dinner. Congratulations on England making it to the world cup semi finals.” Audrey switched into a different position.

Beth rolled her suitcase into the rehearsal room, a rucksack on her back. Not many people would come straight from airport and a 7 hour flight to rehearse but Beth had spent too much time away. She plucked her headphones out of her ears and tucked her suitcase into the large cubby they had at the back at the room for bags and coats. Beth sat down on the ground and pulled her soft shoes out of her backpack. Beth was pulling them on when she saw someone linger in her peripheral vision. “So, what did I miss whilst I was in London?”

Intro

Audrey was born in 1995 in San Francisco to two Japanese immigrant parents. Her mother was also a ballet dancer who helped Audrey find her love of dance at a young age. However, her father helped her find love of various movies, tv shows, video games and more. She moved to New York after graduating at age 18. There worked with multiple companies through the years as a Corps de Ballet. At the age of 21, she was offered a soloist position at the Boston-Cambridge Ballet Company and moved to Boston.

In addition to her geeky interests, Audrey loves traveling and rock climbing. She is known to occasionally dye her hair various color, usually purple.She occasionally leaves to travel or visit her parents.
