Audrey paused, and questioned what she’s believed for so long, “I.. I don’t know.. I’ve never been in a relationship..” She shrugged and tried changing the subject. “Are you okay? You don’t look too good, and you’re drunk.”

Robin didn’t keep pushing on the subject. “I’m fine Audrey,” she said as she began to hiccup. The effects of the alcohol were beginning to go away slowly. Robin stood up, trying not to fall, “Why?” she flipped her hair, “Do I not look fabulous?” she said grinning, trying hard not to laugh herself.

“Definitely.” Audrey laughed at her.

Robin’s laughter ceased, Audrey was serious, and so Robin became serious too. “Okay Audrey. I understand, I think. But, if you don’t mind me asking, why ever not?” Robin was drunk, but she was still conscious of what Audrey was saying.

“Okay, okay! I’m going!” She jumped into his car, looking around confused, “What kind of car is this? I’ve never seen one like it.”

“From the old days.” He replied with a shrug, “It’s fun to drive because it goes really fuckin’ fast.” He gave a bit of a smirk, pulled the gear backwards, pulled out slowly and then zoomed off. 

She smiled at him, "How did you find this? How did you find out how to work it?"

I’m driving us to the beach and you’re going to like it.” He gestured towards the jeep he’d gotten from an old time store, they had these back when the USA was alive and running - and he’d managed to learn how to work it as well as anyone back then could. He opened the side door for her and walked around back, sliding in front and waited.
