My blood boils looking at this sickening photo of “Big Pharma Purdues’ Sackler Family”,standing loud and proud , guilty of causing thousands of addictions and deaths not only over the pond ,but also,over here in the U.K. and many other Countries! 25 years ago my G.P changed me from Tramadol onto this new “magic”tablet from the States for my ongoing chronic lower back pain suffered since 1988 called “Oxicontin”long term release lasting 12 hours /NO,( if not top up with an Oxinorm or two!!)….. Eventually your dosage increases until your end up addicted to the opioid which is doing NADA for your pain!! So cheers for the heinous ongoing withdrawal symptoms of sweats, shivering, shaking and more,living indoors 24/7…. Guess that should be grateful not to have got onto your 180 mgs ones!! A little light relief amidst the horrendous madness of the 🌎 atm.. Over the pond here in the U.K., a good friend of mine is stressing over her child attending “World Book Day”,where your child/children basically pick the favourite character of their most favoured book at that time and then dress up as said character… In our village, it would become rather competitive and personally not having any arts,sowing,knitting,crocheting or similar skills or interest in any,would constantly be renting outfits at an incredible “Dressing up Store for all ages!”😉 Having come of age to work part-time,both of my beloved 🌈 sons decided to dress up for Halloween for work …. So saddened to read of the passing of the awesome,talented,kind and caring much loved actress yesterday,just two weeks shy of her 100th Birthday, the unique“Betty White”.💔 I loved watching “ The Golden Girls” in my youth,however ,she was also on “The Mary Tyler Show”as “Sue Ann Nivens”,amongst numerous other roles over her lengthy career as an actor, even playing “Bitey White” in Toy Story 4! Such a lovely face,with a wicked glint in her sea blue eyes!
