I must’ve written a hundred letters to you, but of course I could never send even one.  I destroyed them, you know.  I cut some into shreds.  I lit a few on fire.  Those were the most beautiful, I think.  Seeing the loops of your name curl into wisps of smoke.  Turns out I always had a knack for burning down things I once loved.
