in my head when benson sees the giraffe teddy it gets him thinking of when he went to the zoo when he was little. So the whole time randy is talking to Lisa he keeps reminding himself to tell randy about it after. except he forgets it immediately as hes distracted (by his fit of jealous rage) but at the end he realises he won’t get another chance to tell him, and even though he knew he was about to die all he could think about was the one story he didn’t get to tell him.

alternatively he was going to keep the story for his vows 🥹
