Sometimes, a nerve will pinch in my neck that causes my entire body - face to toes - to go partially numb. The sensations in my limbs are almost nonexistent, and my lips and face get tingly. I run into walls and items all day because I can't physically judge where my body is in the space; if I'm leaning on the door frame, my brain decides that I am standing straight up and that my perception is wrong, because I cannot feel the difference between standing and leaning.

It's a complete disconnect and it is so alarming. So we make art. We take pictures and we document the life that we have, because I will never feel this good again. It's not something that goes away, and that is shitty but it's life.

So we keep walking until we can't.
