Lilith made her way to Zelda's desk and perched herself upon it. "I would, but not as content as I am when I'm actually near, or around you," She admitted. "And I can be thoughtful when I want to be."
"I do know you can be," she replied, rising from her seat and biting her bottom lip. "I have also come to know another secret about you. You're incredibly sweet," she added, leaning in to gently brush her lips against Lilith's. "Don't worry, I won't tell a soul."
"Sorry." She apologized as she made herself known. "I wasn't sure if you'd want company or not."
"That's rather thoughtful of you," she said with an amused smile spreading across her face as her eyes found Lilith. "But would you really be so contented just observing me from your shadowy corner?" The thought was flattering, she had to admit.
Lilith is just gonna lurk in the shadows of Zelda's office.

"I can feel you watching me," she remarked, not looking up from her desk.
so I just want you all to know (I know I've got some newer mutuals), when I'm working on my drafts I don't do them in any kind of order; I just kinda pick one and see if I can come up with anything. so with that said, if you are really excited about/anticipating a reply for a certain thread of ours, please feel welcome to come talk to me about it. I swear I don't mind some gentle pushing. I am a notoriously forgetful bitch too, so I might have missed the reply.
Farah was grateful for Zelda's use of her magic in transporting them. The last thing she wanted was for Bloom, Sabrina, and the other students to see her limping through the school. Her daughter would be worried enough as it was; she could stave some of it by not letting her see her until her wounds had been patched up.
"I'm thankful for anything you can do," she said softly to Zelda. "And I'm fairly certain I will survive the hour."
Whispering a quick spell to lock the door, Zelda also grabbed a clip from her desk drawer to contain her hair and keep it from falling in her face while she worked. She busied herself with that for a moment as she tried to ignore the way Farah's voice had become softer, how easily affected her heart was by it.
"This will be easier if you undress a bit so I can have better access to your wounds," she said as rolled her sleeves up a bit, pulling the items she needed from the first aid kit.
You stood there and you watched him do it, Aunt Zelda. You helped him do it.
*note: my hc is that Zelda is the eldest
I really feel for Zelda in this moment. Because how could she even begin to explain to Sabrina, an only child who is responsible for no one but herself, the depths that Zelda would go to for her siblings?
Sabrina was so young when Edward (and Diana) died, she probably has no memories of her father interacting with his elder sister. She couldn't witness for herself how Zelda would drop everything in an instant for Edward, or how heavily Edward relied on Zelda, in the church and beyond.
Would Edward have even married a mortal woman if his parents were still around? Its doubtful. But he feels free to do so when they're long gone, and while Zelda has her reservations she still accepts it; she still helps him in any and every way she can. Even if that includes aiding Edward in signing Sabrina's name in the book.
Zelda does it because that is her little brother, who is so intent on having a family with this mortal woman, on trying to change their faith for the betterment of witches (who do you think inspired him?), and Zelda just wants to make him happy.
Down the line she may have some regrets, a desire to shout at him a bit maybe, but when it comes down to it she'd probably do it again if that was what Edward truly wanted because he's really the one she could never say no to, not Sabrina.
“As you should,” Maerose laughed as well just before placing a kiss on Zelda’s forehead. “To doubt our goddess like that… others might ask for punishment,” she purred softly into her ear, certainly intending to make it sound more like the most inviting offer than a proper threat. “How lucky you are that it was me who caught you saying such blasphemous things, love.”
"Lucky, hm," Zelda let her hands roam along Maerose's hips and back while a shiver ran up her own for her whispers. "Is it luck or perhaps you've been sent to me with divine purpose," she teased, leaning her body full back against the tree. "It makes perfect sense, really. You know how to handle me best. What sort of punishment do I deserve, amore?"
There were still days that Farah wondered if she had done the right thing, letting Sabrina Spellman into Alfea. It was a risk, for certain. While the girl was clearly a fairy, there was still the fact that she was half-witch. A fact that the headmistress had chosen to keep a secret from the rest of the faculty, including Saul and Ben, and had advised Sabrina to keep to herself when mixing with the other students.
But the girl had settled in surprisingly well, with Farah having had nothing to report to her aunts. Or, specifically, to her Aunt Zelda, as she was the only one who showed up for their rather clandestine meetings, and was the one who had approached her about Sabrina's enrollment to begin with.
The secrecy was for the best of all involved, and Farah used her magic to place a sound barrier around her office as she stepped through the door, as she did every time. She returned Zelda's smile just a politely, closing the door behind her.
"It's good to see you again, Ms. Spellman. I hope I haven't kept you waiting long?"
A rather sassy retort was kept back but still Zelda wore a slight smirk. It was ever her nature to tease, to say what was on her mind, but her sister had begged her to not be herself, as it were, too early with Farah, and she could admit there was some wisdom in her sister's warning. No, for now she could play nice.
"Not at all," she answered. Truthfully she found that she actually sort of liked this fairy in particular, or at the least respected her. She knew Farah was taking a massive risk allowing Sabrina to study here.
"I appreciate you taking the time to keep me abreast of how Sabrina is fairing." Even if the protections you put up make this feel like a naughty little secret, she thought with some amusement.
apparently my brain had just enough juice for 2 replies and no more. catch me lurking
❛ the man that I was dating turned into a mammoth sized misogynist and everyone else is a child in comparison? ❜ he could laugh about it now, but the social options for someone over hundred were rather limited in greendale. Their coven was small, and now... it was infinitely smaller. Still, he did notice that comment about the drink, taking a glass for himself and pretending as if he knew nothing of his cousins latest schemes. ❛ what has sabrina done this time? ❜
"That's..." Zelda paused. It was rather sad, she thought, how that could just as easily sum up where she had been not so long ago. "No, that's entirely fair. You certainly have my sympathy," she offered before sitting back on the nearest couch. The question drew a laugh from her, one with a genuine, if tired, smile. "I feel like I ask that question no less than three times a day, on a quiet day, mind you. And that's the problem though, isn't it," she asked with a hum as she sipped. "I'm the last to know each and every time."
– They called me a bitch. Me.
– They probably meant that ironically.

"Not torture but perhaps a..." Lilith smirked. "Forceful persuasion."
Although there were some students who had already, in brief interactions, pushed her to the limits of her patience, and she had to admit she would enjoy pushing them to their limits, to see a little glimpse of their suffering. It might be relaxing.
"But you have a point," she added with a sigh, slumping slightly with resignation. "Sabrina is probably involved one way or the other."
"You seem disappointed by that," Zelda pointed out, a hint of a smile in her eyes as she considered the first woman. Now that she gave it some thought, it was rather amusing that Lilith would take the time and effort to bring the issue to her attention.
"I have half a mind to accuse you of being bored, or worse.. missing us," she teased as she meandered her way from behind her desk to stand closer to Lilith. She knew it was highly unlikely that her niece or students weren't responsible but why not poke the bear a bit with Lilith.
