Why I haven’t posted in 100 years

Because I am a horrible blogger.

And things have been a bit mad lately. Long story short, I am back with my old/first host family. I know, I know, you all probably think I’m crazy for going back after complaining about them for basically a whole year, but hear me out. They’ve changed, I’ve changed. We’ve both grown in the 6 months we were apart and I’m hoping it’s for the better. I’ve been back about 3 weeks now and everything is going well so far. The real selling point for me was the fact that I will now have my own car, something I didn’t have when I first lived here. It was also really hard to go from a family where the kids absolutely loved me (not to toot my own horn) to a family where they didn’t really like me. Basically I went from having crap host parents and great kids to crap kids and great host parents. Why can’t I have it all?? Because that’s not how life works. But as I said, so far so good. I have not missed suburban life, but I have missed the proximity to the shops!

Also I’m nearly finished with uni for this term WHOO! Only two more assignments, I can do this!
