I thought that initially, but I believe that in this instance it’s race thing. And if not this particular instance, there really are places in Japan where foreigners aren’t “allowed” or welcomed. Whatcha gonna do ya know 🤷🏼‍♀️

And no, it isnt about language. There are non-japanese people, fluent in Japanese (some even born in the country), who will be made to leave these businesses. Also happens to some mixed race (half japanese) people.
