Caravaggio living paintings by Ludovica Rambelli Theater

The person behind these living paintings called Tableaux Vivants is the late Ludovica Rambelli, an Italian woman and former director of the Maltheatre Theatre Company. Rambelli died in 2017 in her native Naples, Italy. Her theatre troupe however continues to recreate famous Caravaggio’s paintings so that Rambelli’s research isn’t forgotten again.
