Blues In The Night || Aurora & Joseph
Joseph knew very well he didn’t exactly look old. He didn’t look young, either, but most people would probably guess nineteen instead of twenty-one. he had to deal with that pretty often, or at least more than he’d like.
"I’m twenty-one," he replied, rubbing the underside of his jaw as the pain slowly left him. "Next time, we should definitely skip the punching, yes," the man agreed, before pushing the door open for the girl. "I’m not late for anything other than being home, which at this hour means going to bed."
Aurora walked into the bar, turning a few lights on and placing her handbag on top of the bench. She walked behind the bar and rested on it, giving the young man a smile. "What'll it be?" She asked, tilting her slightly and tapping her fingers on top of the bar.
"We've got just about everything, but you seem like a beer kind of guy. So, maybe a... Bud Light?" She asked. After a moment of deliberation, she shook her head. "No, no. Corona? Heineken? Tooheys? C'mon, kid. Gimme an idea."
