Hello there! (I hope this isn't a bother) - I would like to ask if you have any specific way in which you begin a drawing; e.g. start with basic shapes, or just go where the lines lead you, etc.? I would also love to say that your artwork is absolutely stunning - the amount of character and movement you put into it always amazes me and inspires me to go and draw straight away. :P Thank you so much for creating art, it's always great to see a post from you! Hello! It’s not a bother at all. Thank you for dropping by!*Blushing intensifies* Goodness, thank you so much! Oh dear, I get quite nervous when sharing my rough sketches, haha. However, since you and a fair few people asked very nicely I could show you a couple. I am still learning though so please bear with me.

I use a mixture of basic shapes and improvised lines, if that makes sense? I tend to keep the drawings quick and fairly rough to try and get more motion.

Then I draw another sketch on top to clean things up, add details and fix mistakes. I still make mistakes regardless, haha.

Using the cleaner sketch I make my lines. More often than not I make changes from the original sketch to fix mistakes or to improve the drawing somewhat.

And there we have it! Slap some colours and break open the juice boxes to reward yourself. You completed a drawing and are a step closer to improving!

Oh goodness, that was long. To be honest, I usually have no idea what I am doing. It involves a fair bit of drawing and redrawing but that is my process, haha. I’m so flattered that you would want drawing advice from me. Thank you so much! I hope that helped!
