I think we don’t talk enough about Egon watching Trevor repair the Ecto-1 and helping him with the little wire he forgot to twist.

Like… I can see Egon laughing, lean against the garage door frame looking at the Ecto-1 turning and going at full speed in the fields.

I swear. We don’t talk about that enough.

So I’m gonna headacannon that while Phoebe is the brains with all things science it’s Trevor that’s the brains/hands when it comes to sewing and mending and tailoring clothes.

Like their mom is broke - they are definitely on a fixed income/budget. How much y’all wanna bet that Trevor took up sewing/mending/tailoring clothes to help his mom out? How he tailors some of his old clothes down to Phoebe size so that they fit her properly. How he mends Phoebes clothes when they get a bit torn during one of her projects/experiments? Takes some old overalls and makes a cute overall skirt for his baby sister to wear that won’t easily tear from her projects/experiments, etc.

So when Phoebe starts handing out the Ghostbusters coveralls he’s like my time has come, and just goes to town with tailoring them to fit Phoebe and Podcast so they didn’t get swallowed by the material, so the excessive material doesn’t hinder their mobility (but he makes sure to leave some room for them to grown into it a bit) - but due to the whole end of the world dooms day clock he didn’t have time to fully tailor his or Luckys. He had just enough time after finishing Phoebe and Podcast to make sure Lucky and him weren’t swimming in excess or fabric, pinning and tucking sleeves and pant legs a bit here and there while making notes for doing a proper adjustment at a later time.
