tae  sighs.    a  constant  need  for  further  explanation  -  often  on  the  simplest  things  -  seems  be  a  common  trait  among  the  han  brothers.

unfortunately,  this  is  not  simple.    it  may  very  well  be  a  life  or  death  situation.

Dakota was walking home after having spent the day at the market picking out groceries carrying about 4 bags of food in her arms. Her home was a bit off by itself but there were a few houses for sale around her house that held open houses every few days or so. She didn’t realize that someone had been walking out of the house until she walked past, unable to see over the bags causing the petite female to stop in her tracks. Deciding she should try and welcome the potential neighbor she called out to them, “Hello! Are you considering the house? I promise I am a really good neighbor and do not bite!” Trying to be lighthearted and friendly to them because she felt weird having the two empty houses around her and was starting to worry she was scaring people off.

tae  looks  up  in  surprise  at  the  lilting  voice.    it  isn’t  hard  to  locate  the  owner  of  it,  seeing  as  the  two  are  the  only  ones  around,  just  a  bit  sudden  after  the  near-silent  tour  of  the  large  house  he’d  been  looking  at.    it’s  part  of  the  reason  he  and  connie  had  decided  to  look  into  this  particular  home :  it  would  be  a  quiet  place  to  rest  until  their  living  arrangements  in  london  were  finished,  and  proved  to  be  large  enough  to  let  the  children  roam  freely  without  worry.    

it’s  perfect,  really.

he  looks  over  at  the  girl,  eyes curious  but  kind  behind  glasses.    she  seems  friendly. 

“  yes,  “    he  says,    “  i’m  kitae  mihn-macmillan,  a  relatively  decent  neighbor  as  well  in  my  own  opinion.  “    a  small  laugh.    “  my  husband  and  i  have  been  looking  for  a  quiet  place  in  this  area  for  a  while  now,  actually.    i’m  glad  we  were  able  to  find  this  one  before  it  was  bought.    “    there’s  brief  pause  as  his  gaze  drops  to  the  bags  in  her  arms.    

tae  only  hopes  the  next  words  don’t  come  out  as  creepy  and  off-putting  as  they  sound  to  him.

“   um...  would  you  like  some  help  with  those  ?    i  know  your  house  is  close  by,  but  those  look  pretty  heavy.  “

When two muns get together and decide to ship their characters there is usually a lot of communication behind it. Most of the time their characters have interacted, spark from the muses is felt on both sides, it’s discussed, and then developed. Sometimes all the development takes place on their blogs, sometimes it takes place through private conversation or skype, but most of the time it’s a mixture of both.  Even if you see a ship that suddenly appears on the dash with no previous signs of it being so, do not assume development was rushed. In many cases development may be happening in private, and that’s fine! Maybe they tried it privately and, when it worked, wanted it to be a part of their blogs! Maybe they didn’t and it really was just a spur of the moment decision! So what? Who cares? If it’s making them happy, and it’s not hurting anyone, it is literally NONE of your business! The point here is that, just because you don’t see every written line of development for your own eyes, don’t assume it didn’t happen. And even if it didn’t happen, it is no one’s concern but the blogs writing the ship to begin with. Move along.

          but was leaving the country really such a small thing ?  without ANY forewarning ? 

          fingertips dance over the small swell of his stomach as he debates his next words.  “  i’m fine, ”  he finally says.  it isn’t a lie , and that’s a good start. 

          soft inhale , breathed continuation :           “  i don’t know when i’ll be coming back ; hopefully soon.  ”  

          a pause.  “  but ,  um . . . i’m with my mother and sister , and they’re taking care of me.  so please don’t worry so much.  ”  

          a barely-there giggle.
