hello  friends  !!  i  assure  you  i  am  still  alive!  i've  been  doing  a  lot  of  adult-ing,  and  i've  been  quite  literally  MIA  on  social  media  /  discord  /  and  things  in  general  because  of  stuff  i'm  working  on.  things  are  looking  like  to  be  chilling  (  finally  ).  and  i've  been  made  aware  of  discord's  dumb  policy  that  invites  you  to  give  them  your  personal  information  -  !  (  which  i  will  NOT  be  doing  ).  if  you  want  to  stay  in  contact  with  me  outside  of  tumblr,  dm  me  and  i  can  share  my  STEAM  FC. 

beyond  communication,  i  do  seek  to  write  on  adam  more  and  will  have  a  higher  activity  rate  than  what  i've  experienced  since  Christmas  and  Thanksgiving  of  last  year.  I'm  looking  to  also  reopen  threads,  continue  old  ones,  and  recurate  my  place  as  a  Warlock  writer.  I've  been  also  reading  and  have  been  rambling  to  my  equally  MARVEL/DC  obsessed  coworkers  about  Warlock.

THREE FACTS

i really REALLY want to go horse riding but like. the fun kind where you just get on a horse and fuck around, not the boring Riding Classes TM kind. i did it like twice as a kid and i've been chasing that high ever since.

my english lit dissertation was on black sails/treasure island and the ways in which one affects the other. it was absolute dogshit but the ideas behind it were sound, i just had, you know, unmedicated adhd and wrote it in like 9 hours. (now i have medicated adhd!)

EXPERIENCE

HOW LONG ( MONTHS / YEARS? ): too... too long. over a decade for tumblr alone. far longer than that otherwise.

BEST EXPERIENCE: i think developing all of the relationships with @ohsunshine's muses over the course of the past... oh god, four years??? has been the best one in recent years and the one i'm the most grateful for. i love rue dearly and would do just about anything for them at this point. mwah.

ofc i love and cherish all of my rp partners, especially the ones that came long before this blog. rue is just my special meow meow i fear.

MUSE PREFERENCES

FEMALE OR MALE: a secret third thing: non-human entities that are treated as Men TM by the narrative but not by me.

FLUFF, ANGST OR SMUT: angst every time baby!!!! give me that shit!!! my bread and butter is going HARD into trauma so. you know. also i like one-off "almost smut but not quite" type things where there's tension and one or both muses are Feeling A Certain Way about it but nothing is like. actually happening yknow. fluff is fine as a palate cleanser for the former two.

PLOTS OR MEMES: memes are the best way for me to get things started but i do love having a vague dynamic to work with. alas, i'm terrible at replying to messages. u see my problem. <- stealing that from rue because yeah... yeah. i'm also REALLY bad at initiating things and coming up with ideas on my own, it's a problem i'm trying my best to work on so that the other person doesn't have to carry everything because of my people-pleasing bullshit. but it is difficult. trying to unlearn decades of Doing Whatever Someone Else Wants is hard.

LONG OR SHORT REPLIES: usually a few paragraphs if i'm the one writing them... for reading them, i have ADHD and DID (which comes with amnesia) so longer replies tend to be harder for me to reply to, but i LOVE reading them.

BEST TIME TO WRITE: whenever the alignment of the stars coincides with my medication kicking in and me also being at the computer with nothing else to do AND also having active muse for whichever characters i'm roleplaying. oops

ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSE(S): god i hope not. there are fragments of me in a lot of them but none where i'm like "yep we're the same!". even johnny and the griefbringers, who were originally directly based on my system, aren't actually all that much like me KSDJFNF.
