Hey sorry to bother, i love danse macabre but would you consider removing the “victor does not abuse or assault yuuri” tag as it is sort of misleading? I love the story and im subscribed to it but because of the tag i didnt think that viktor was going to be cruel to yuuri and i feel like even though he is not actively hurting or r*ping him, what hes doing still clarifies as abuse/assault

Done. I apologize for the misunderstanding. In my mind, the way Victor behaves is very different from the way that Bradley treats Yuuri, and I wanted to make the distinction clear.

I first thought that it was clear that Victor’s initial behavior is a factor of him being a serial killer who has broken his usual methods. However, there is a definite psychological factor that I didn’t give enough credit. I have added a few more additional tags to build upon this. Again, sorry if I misled you in any way.

So lately I have been involved in the Viktuuri Angst Bang and I was paired with 4 writers :) between all of them I have 30 pieces of artwork to work through by the end of October :)

This piece is titled "It should have been you" and is one of 14 pieces I am doing to pair with Aurum_Auri's "Danse Macabre" a dark Viktuuri piece that includes kidnapping, murder, grooming, bdsm, and domestic violence, and is an angst with a happy ending fic. So I recently reread AEOM and realized you now made it into a series so I read the new ones as well. I gotta say, I was surprised when you revealed Alphalite was Yurio. By surprised I mean sitting up and yelping at 3am because THAT'S why Yurio reacted that way when he realized Eros was Aria's guest and how Yurio knew where the camera was placed when he went to neutralize Yuuri's room and that's why he said Alphalite was gonna die there. I need more Yurio POVs. Also does Beka know?

Ahahahahah 😂😂😂 I’m glad I could surprise you! I’ve always been fond of the idea of Yurio having a bit of a crush on Yuuri, and being frustrated and not knowing quite how to properly deal with it. But I do think, overall, he would respect Yuuri enough by the end of the fic to find it kind of gross to keep.... not quite objectifying Yuuri, but seeing him in that intensely sexual light, the way he once had. Especially now that he knows more about the Yuuri off the camera, and the way people harass Yuuri over what he does.

Beka is aware Yuri knows who Eros is, but I don’t think he knows how deep it went. As far as he knows, Eros used one of his songs to do a dance routine, and Eros also plays video games, which creeps into Yurio’s domain. He isn’t surprised that Yurio knows, but I think he might be surprised if he found out how long Yurio was subscribed 😂 So he doesn’t know about the Alphalite tag. There may be room for more Yurio POVs if there is interest for them, I won’t rule it out entirely! I am always fond of going back to the AEOM universe and building on that world.

Do AO3 Authors/Writers actually...? [YOI]

So this has been sitting on my mind for quite some time and it is a little bit embarrasing but I always wonder…

Do the people that make these amazing fanfics talk to each other about the people that always comment? 

When I started reading the  Yuri on Ice fanfics on Ao3 around 3 years ago now I couldn’t stop reading since! But I am also quite the person that comments a lot on those fics and just mostly write these long emotional comments or just flat out thirsty comments as I just see these people that make these updates and comments just so talented. They always seem to think their writing isn’t the best or the way the story goes isn’t as surprising, but I seriously see them as real authors???? I know they did not come op with the Yuri on Ice anime but the way they take those characters and make them their own is just so amazing? And I have read hundreds upon hundres of these fics and am always so so happy to see when they updated something?? But like , I wonder if they even really recognize me now? >//< [My account name is AO3 is Shiezz] 

But whenever I see those people posting these amazing fics they really make my day and I often think about those stories. The sad ones, the cute ones to the one with a lot of angst yet still have this amazing characters and storyline. Now I really don’t know how to really express my love for those people that take their time to really upload daily to monthly but I am just so thankfull?? 

This thought has been on my mind for months now but I wanted to express time somewhere for these people to read just to let them know how much I love their story, I truly fangirl about those people [even if it is a random 18 yo girl that has a lot of free time -as they say- to people with fulltime jobs and STILL see making these chapters as a outlet. 

To those users. Especially form the Yuri on ice fandoms my upmost love and grattitude to all these stories that really changes my life. I got to learn new storylines, new music because of the tips they give to listen to certain songs and to just making my day so much better when I check my mailbox and see that they updated the story. I laughed out loud, cried my heart out and just learned so many new things that are important in life just out of these stories. 

Now I have no idea what these users even have a Tumblr but please if you know some of these authors on AO3 I wouldnt mind you sending them this post just to let them now how they are adored to many including myself.

I’m crying in the club tbh 😭 comments make my day in a way I don’t think I can every properly explain. I read every single one and I do recognize people, remember your names, and deeply appreciate each and every word you leave. The fact that you take the time out of your day to read and review means so so much to me and makes it all so worth it 💕

Commenters are the unsung heroes of fandom, and without them, fandom would be a bleaker place I think. I just write the words I want to see, and I try to put out things I think others might enjoy, too. But commenters keep people going in ways that are impossible to put into words.
