This blog is where I would post all my Warriors stuff. Mostly art now but sometimes thoughts too.
My Other Blogs
Since I’m not that consistently active on this blog, I’ll share my other blogs below. If I’m not active here, it’s likely I’m active on one of these at least.
@ausilotus-main - main, just miscellaneous reblogs, rarely post my art there
@ausilotus - furry blog, mostly reblogs but it’s also where I post most of my art (sometimes reblog art of anthro wc characters there)
@nostalgic-ausi - personal nostalgia blog, mostly reblogs but I sometimes post art I’ve made to be personally nostalgic (I do reblog nostalgic Warriors art there tho, even post my own sometimes)
@rose-fall - oc blog, developing a webcomic slowly but surely (not wc related, not even a cat-centric xenofiction)
@artsy-doodle - my little pony blog, mostly reblogs but I sometimes post my pony art there
@lotus-of-stardollop - animal crossing blog, mostly reblogs but I sometimes post my ac art there
@ausilotus-pokemon - pokémon blog, mostly reblogs but I sometimes post my pokémon art there
My part for the Bottom of the River Mapleshade MAP (hosted by DetectiveCalico)! My first ever MAP part :)
The part is also on youtube, with progress stages
With many technical difficulties (blue screens, a corrupted file scare, fucked up pen calibration that I cannot fix (which is why Frecklewish’s animation may be a bit wonky, on top of still getting used to drawing with a tablet pen)) and numerous periods of art block and low motivation, it’s finally done!
I chose this part cuz it has both Mapleshade and Frecklewish in it, both of which are amongst my fav wc characters.
I’ll edit this post with a link of the complete MAP once it’s out :)
Since I’ve had different styles and designs throughout my time with this blog, all of which I really like, I might still use each of them depending on vibes and how I’m feeling for whatever I’m working on at the time.
1.) indulgent designs and more detailed (in comparison) style
Pretty much the designs and style I take most creative liberty with. (Characters are Firestar, Ashfur, Graystripe, Violet, Antpelt, Hawkfrost, Squirrelflight, Bristlefrost, Briarlight, Hawkfrost (again), Frecklewish, Mapleshade, Hollyleaf, and Ashfur (again))
-
2.) straight up just look like normal cats but still look “serious” and use simpler and more natural (in comparison at least) designs
The priority for this style and these designs is “look like a cat” first and foremost. These simpler designs tend to be how I actually envision them. (Characters are Mudclaw, Mapleshade, Hollyleaf, Tigerclaw, and Ashfur)
-
3.) these are just cute lil kitty cats
Uses the same designs as the previous art style, but with a more cutesy style instead. (Characters are Moonpaw, Squirrelstar, Rusty, Gremlin, and Wafflepelt)
-
And there will be times where I use the “more detailed” art style but with the simpler designs or the indulgent designs but with the simpler/more natural colors and markings. The self indulgent designs will most likely be used less than the simpler designs, it all depends on the feel of what I’m working on. So there’s bound to be some variations in between.
As for the two different sets of designs: some will look similar (like Firestar/Rusty or Hollyleaf) while others will look very different (like Mapleshade or Ashfur).
I like to embrace my inconsistency with Warriors art, I like having different designs to choose from as well as different styles depending on vibes. :)

Not Warriors but. It’s the same for Watership Down too, I got the more natural designs (how I actually envision them) as well as the indulgent more unnatural anime hair designs lol.
Lil doodles of some random cats I felt like drawing. I actually don’t know anything about Gremlin but I still felt like drawing her. Don’t know if her design is fitting or if she seems out of character here, like I said I know nothing about her. And I feel like her foreleg is too long. Also still unsure on Squirrelstar’s leader mark placement. I want it to be on her forehead but it blends to much with her hair tuft, but I don’t want it to be a lighter color. So I just put it near her eye for now. Also she probably looks too young there, I know she’s old now but I wasn’t thinking of ages when I drew these lol.
Tested out drawing murderous cats having dilated eyes when murdering with intent. I used Mapleshade for this cuz she’s fucked up lol. Versions with and without blood cuz I’m eh on how the blood turned out. (Also my mapleshade design changed lol I went with a more simple design this time)
