Just a insight

A flash in the darkness of oneself, a spark of light appears a flicker of hope in the darkness. Looking at it taking a step towards it; it flash’s brighter blinding me. Racing forward bewildered, dazed and fighting my way through the darkness. It wavers and it’s gone all of a sudden; left in the darkness lost and confused fighting with oneself sinking deeper into the shadows. Was it a dream? Searching I see a flicker deeper, further away taking a step in the direction I see it flicker brighter ever so slightly. Stopping, thinking, not rushing should I approach or stay back not wanting too be left in the darkness. One is frozen in fear of losing that spark and forever being lost.
