We drove from #Dubai to @yaswaterworld in Abu Dhabi today and finally got on the waves! The #flowrider is a tough one to get used to. I rode hard for 4 hours and I think I'm starting to get a feel for it! This is what #flowtour14 is all about for me! Awesome late night practice with my friends. This session alone was worth traveling up to Maeva Surf for stops 2 & 3 back in June! So much fun and a great venue
It's not easy eating clean on tour; the schedule is pretty much always hectic from practice to contest and there isn't often time to go shopping for supplies. I usually pack snacks but there was absolutely no room to spare in my luggage for this month long journey! I feel refreshed by my finds at the rest stop on the way to LBI for the next comp: bottled water is a must, two cans of tuna, a bag of natural cranberry trail mix, raw almonds, a dark chocolate sea salt Kind bar and my new favorite find: all natural Argo green tea with ginger! (at Atlantic City, NJ)
