Ooc: I noticed a lack in Aiden role play accounts. Which is honestly fair because the film is a complete mess. Luckily I’m going to be taking the character in a slightly different direction by mixing a bit of Aiden from the book with Aiden from the film.

If you haven’t read the book, Well I can only assume you have actual taste. Still, It’s much much better than the film (despite its glaring faults and red flags.) But I’ll assume few people have read the book so I’m going to drop some info below in regard to my character.

Aiden is still in his mid twenties, Living in Romania and pursuing a career in art as a graphic novelist; But now he’s tacky (think 1970’s floral prints) He’s haunted by his relationship with Vivian going south. He has a fear of guns, and werewolves. He loves the arts, He writes bad poetry and has a strange almost haunting depth to him.

Asks are open to anyone, For roleplay that takes place in the DMs I ask that you be over 21 years of age or older. I don’t foresee this account getting particularly NSFW but you never know.

Hannibal extended universe, But open to anyone really. Although I tend to ship Aiden with Duncan.

School really is boring, But I would say a well rounded education is really good for your future. Regardless of what career you choose. Realistically you wont use half the stuff you learn in school…But you never know.

I miss the solid weight of my hunting rifle within my palms. It's been one of the few constants in my life. It'll be in my hands again in a few days, but I can't help feeling uneasy at the thought of returning.

One of them is passed down through my family, I'm quite excited to gift it to my son. (＾︶＾) Quality over quantity, unless you're really wealthy. What kind of guns did your father own?

Thats really not a lot at all. Comparatively I mean. I’m sure your son will love that. You speak very highly of him and seem really close. My father is still alive, So as far as I know he still has them. I couldn’t tell you makes or models, I don’t know that much about guns myself. All I know is that a lot of them were antiques, But he had newer guns too, Some that were automatic or semi automatic. He was a military man so they were his pride and joy. He and my mom both came from money so they were very pricey from what I remember…

I recall you said you were struggling financially. Not to assume anything, I was just wondering how that could be if your parents seem to be well-off enough.

You wouldn’t be the first! It’s definitely impressive I’d give him that. He spent a lot of time and money on the collection. As I said, It’s his pride and joy.

Your assumptions would probably be better than the truth. I suggest you cling to those. It’s a long story, But let’s just say there is a reason I now live in Bucharest, halfway around the world from them…Especially my dad.

It doesn’t really matter…I’m alive, And safe. Thats all that matters.

I wish it were all in the past, I truly do. If my dad ever even hears a whisper of where I am…It won’t be good for anyone involved…

Nothing is really new, I’m thinking about starting therapy…maybe. Even if my therapist seems a little…unorthodox.

I believe it will all work out, for both you and me. Maybe not in ways we want it to, but as long as we're still here, there will always be a path ahead to walk on. "Just keep your head up and your feet on the ground, if you're still sulking then you can have a kick in the arse".. or so I was told by a bright young girl, haha.

It doesn't feel right for me to share what I've got going on, but I guess it goes two-ways right? You remind me of my son sometimes; same headstrong attitude and that caring heart.

Therapy is always a good start to ease the burdens of the mind. Maybe you just need sometime to warm up to your therapist? It's not easy to open up to someone new afterall.

And what if you fall off that cliff and find clouds awaiting to catch you and lift you up? What if you find at the end of all your woes and worries that there never was a cliff? It's hard not to worry and overthink, so I try to channel that path of thought somewhere a little more positive. Think perspective and direction.

You're not very far off yourself, Aiden. Don't run yourself further into the ground, yeah? Live up to who you want to be, and not to what other people have imposed on you. Even if you don't, that's alright. Your best is always enough. ( ´ v ` )

Your therapist sounds... very unique. Definitely interesting and I'm not quite sure whether that's a surprise or a shock. Just.. make sure you're careful out there.

I guess I never thought about it like that. Maybe I should try to be more positive. I’ll say, It’s hard when your life has been nothing but a struggle. I sometimes can’t catch a break. But, Maybe. Just maybe thats all behind me now.

I’m trying so hard Lucas, I’m trying to be my authentic self every day, It’s tough when you are still not sure which parts are yourself and which parts were forced upon you by others.

I can sympathize, I haven't been having the best of days here either. But sometimes it's the little things in life that offer rest. I slept in well past sunrise today, I thought that was quite nice. It.. feels a little silly to admit to that here, haha.

You don't have to know everything now. We can piece it out together over time. You're trying everyday, and that's all that really matters. Let the past fade, but if it does ever come back, you will not face it alone.

Past sunrise? I’m guessing that would be very out of character for you. You seem like a very up by 5am in bed by 9 pm type of guy. Now I’m officially worried.

At twenty four, Sometimes I don’t go to bed until sunrise.

Also, My schedule sometimes calls for it. On nights I work at the bar I don’t leave until sunrise. I normally crash right after I get home though. And throw up, a lot. The tips are great.

Also sometimes inspiration strikes, I can go days without sleeping if I’m caught up in work, Or other artistic endeavors…

Atleast you're getting paid well but.. sigh. A lot of water, bland food and rest will get you through the worst of hangover. I would much prefer you stay up when you're caught up wherever your mind takes you.

Way ahead of you, The bland food is the best advice though. I always overeat when I’m hungover and feel even worse later. I’m show you some of my work from when I get late night inspiration, It tends to be some of my best.
