Introduction

Amber M. Kestner is a West Virginian author who specializes in sapphic romance. Since publishing her debut, Jana & Angel: A Girl For Her Series, Volume 1, in 2016, she has built a growing body of work centered on love, identity, and connection between women. A writer since her pre-teen years, she began on AllPoetry and StoryWrite before making Wattpad her home for many years. She now shares her work on Archive of Our Own (AO3). Her stories explore coming out, true love, and friendship, blending clean to mature romance with touches of fantasy and emotionally driven storytelling. She lives in Sutton, West Virginia, with her husband, Larry, and is a proud mother.

Thriving on AO3

I went from struggling to find readers on Wattpad, Inkitt, and WeInk to now being on AO3 for nearly a month. I did accidently delete my books at one point with nearly 200 hits. Can you believe that? I've gained a much wider audience with my own way of writing and being able to write what I want in privacy.

I will shout this to the rooftops. I LOVE AO3!

My family, friends, and endless supporters know that I am on there. I'm so glad to share my original works without being bashed, hated, and bullied for being myself. My stories are thriving, my creativity is going beyond just selling on Amazon to reach that wider audience. (Trust me it is a challenge)

I would like to thank @simpleskull200 for helping me get on there and letting me know that I can make any stories I want without feeling shamed. I also love that their is no chapter limit. I mean, come on as any writer knows we need all the endless story telling.

I'm still working on Lesbian Café, expanding Happily Ever After (IMVU story), and working on a Dark Romantasy Series. I can't spill it because then I'll be in trouble with my other Social Media's so yeah. If you must know it will be a trilogy and will only be on AO3 until further notice because I can't put it on Wattpad, Inkitt, and WeInk without any bookcovers.

Now, if you wish to find me on AO3 simple it is to look up LesbianJuliet or one of my book titles that you have seen me listed before. All books are available besides True Colors Anthology that is Amazon only, sorry folks. My story Sweet Summers is in it though and it was released June 30th, 2025.
