🎃🍉🎃🍬🎃 Happy Summerween! 🎃🍉🎃🍬🎃
Reblog if you remember this motherfucker:
ooh i have a nice fun fact!
Static was WILDLY popular in Brazil (a country where the population is over 50% black) and we had re-runs for YEARS on open television. Everyone who was a kid in the 2000s knew and loved him. As a result, every single Brazilian Con has a LOT of static cosplayers!
So, a couple of years ago, Comic Con Experience (the biggest con in Brazil, which is actually also the biggest con in the world!) invited one of Static’s creator Denys Cowan as one of the guests of honor.
Now. Thousands of people attend his panel. And cosplayers went NUTS because they could show their Static cosplay to the creator himself! What none of us expected was Debts Cowan’s reaction:
He cried on stage.
He had never seen Static cosplayers - especially not so many of them! And he had no idea the show was popular here! No one ever told him his character was so beloved! Years and years of reruns and he had no idea! He obviously created the character with his experiences and his community (Black North Americans) in mind. Still, he accidentally touched a whole other community of black people who could see themselves on the screen as a superhero!
Anyway he is a lovely person and one of the best, most memorable guests we had. And I think this is a nice reminder that your art might touch people you can’t even imagine would when creating it.
Edit: I said “the creator” when i should’ve said “one of the creators”, its edited now, but while he isnt the one who came to brazil it’s important to say Dwayne McDuffie was another important figure to static shock!! Both are black men who paved the way in comic book history! Thank you @sokumotanaka for pointing it out.
I got my account back!! Horray!! I’m so happy and everything I’ve posted is still here, thank goodness!!Hopefully, I’ll never fall for a scam after this, this is the best day of my life…

~•~
Inspired by the Pokémon film, Pokémon: Jirachi: Wish Maker.
~•~
The Borealis Comet is about to make its long-awaited appearance in the sky again, supposedly granting the wishes of all those who see it in the skies above them. Of course, Yusuke and friends are equally interested in the Borealis Festival, especially when they attend a magic performance by the Great Horikoshi.
Even more interesting is the mysterious cocoon in Horikoshi’s possession—from which Yusuke hears a mysterious voice calling! When a child named Darwishi emerges from his slumber, Team Urameshi has a new friend—sadly, it’s only for the brief few days that the Borealis Comet appears in the sky.
Yusuke is anxious to make the most of his time with his new friend, but the Great Horikoshi has his own plans for Darwishi, which are not so friendly. He wants to revive the nightmarish Bugiman, and Darwishi just might be able to grant that wish.
Can Yusuke, Hiei, Kurama and Kuwabara stop Horikoshi and save Darwishi before the Bugiman reappears to reign destruction over the land?

In the neon-lit, towering metropolis of futuristic Shibuya, where humans, cyborgs, and androids coexist, society has grown reliant on SIMs (Sentient Imitation Models)—humanlike androids designed to serve, obey, and mimic emotion without truly feeling.
Geto Suguru, a single father and former robotics engineer turned mechanic, lives a quiet life raising his twin daughters, Nanako and Mimiko, in a quiet suburban district on the edge of the city’s buzzing tech sector.
One day, he receives a big anonymous package outside their suburban home, inside: an unconscious, lifelike white haired, blue eyed SIM android named Gojo Satoru with no memory of his past or purpose for his creation.
But Gojo’s unlike any SIM they’ve ever seen before— he learns, adapts, and most dangerously of all… begins to feel. A scene during a family movie night triggers a cascade of unfamiliar data in Gojo's core.
Emotions, Laughter, Warmth, Longing, and Love. Especially around Geto, Gojo begins to fall in love with him. However, an evil threat wants to use Gojo and copy his data to use it on the other androids for evil purposes to take over the entire world.
Finding that his friends and family are in danger, Gojo must use his newly discovered powers and instincts to save the world and all that he loves while uncovering memories of his past and the truth of his creation.
Ashes of What We Once Were (SatoSugu)
~•~
What if Geto Suguru survived JJK 0, but lost everything that made him who he was?
~•~
Instead of dying by Gojo's hand after their final confrontation, Geto is captured alive by the Jujutsu Society, he wakes up weeks later in a secure medical ward with no memory of his past — not of his curse manipulation, not of his descent into villainy, not even of Gojo Satoru.
To everyone else, Geto is a criminal who deserves execution. But to Gojo, he’s a second chance. Now under constant surveillance and stripped of his status, Geto is held in a secured section of Jujutsu High, learning about the world from scratch.
Gojo volunteers to help with his rehabilitation, masking his personal motives behind professional reasons. But every moment they spend together reignites feelings Gojo buried long ago.
Although Geto can’t remember their friendship, their shared dreams, their love, or the betrayal that tore them apart. There’s something in Gojo’s eyes — pain, longing, love — feels achingly familiar.
But Geto Suguru struggles with life after the war at Jujustu High while trying to regain his memory, reuniting with his daughters and rebuilding his relationship with Gojo.

When he brings this up, “Gojo” partially transforms into an otherworldly cursed spirit, who took over Gojo’s body after Toji Fushiguro killed him and used his reversed curse technique to revive him, begs Geto to promise not to tell anyone that he’s not really Gojo, if he cannot accept it-while also professing its love for him.
Wracked with grief and unable to let go of his best friend, Geto struggles to move on with his life as he finds himself getting closer to the new Gojo. At the same time, strange occurrences begin to plague Jujustu Society, bringing unsettling chaos.
