Introduction to me & this blog!

Hello!

I’m Autisitctrekky, and as the name implies, I am an autistic Star Trek artist. I also have EDS and other physical disabilities, which influence my art.

Here, I’ll post my Star Trek OCs along with their lore/backstories and time aboard the USS Curiosity!

A side note: I have moderate-severe ME, which leaves me with only small windows of usable time in my days. It might take me a little while to respond to comments or asks, but still feel free to send them! They do make my day, even if I need some time to answer:) Thank you for your patience!

A quick rundown of the Curiosity (does contain some spoilers):

The Curiosity story is set 20-25 years post DS9. Starfleet is considering loosening their qualifications when it comes to which cadets get accepted into Starfleet Academy and get assigned to starships. They refitted the Curiosity as a trial run and staffed it with the cadets who wouldn’t have made the cut otherwise, but kept that part classified.

The story overall is about disability within Starfleet, especially disabilities that aren’t easily accommodated, or that do hold the crew members back.
