"What, being an Ancient Cybertronian doesn't make me old anymore suddenly?" He jokes, sitting up to grab a cup. "Mmm, been a while since I had refined cy-sugar."
Grimlock holds the tiny cup gently, making sure not to break it with his overly large servos. Taking a sip, he grunts in approval.
"I forgot how sweet it was-"
“Hm. They say age is all in your head. It’s your spirit that keeps you young.” She chuckled before taking a couple of sips from her cup. Oh, that hit the right spot for her. Not too sweet, not too bitter. Just perfect.

“Don’t forget to tend to your flowers. You need something with life to fill your home.” She grinned, taking the kettle and pouring the hot water into the tea pot.
“I mean it’s a tea set. Don’t know about fine china. But I saw this when I went out to the market and thought of buying it. Do you like it?”
"Looks delicate enough to be it at this point." Shifting his frame, Grimlock moved to spread his struts out and leant back on his elbows, allowing himself to stretch and relax. His frame eased itself, optics closed as he listens to her prepare the tea, enjoying the peace and quiet surrounding him. "I can already tell I'm gonna sleep good tonight."
“Are you?” She chuckled, organizing the tea set before reaching for the kettle and poured the hot water into the tea pot. “Well, don’t fall asleep just yet. Tea hasn’t been served yet.”
Finished in the kitchen, the young femme walked back into the living room and sets the tray onto the coffee table and sits beside him as she prepares his cup.
"But it's so cozy in here-" a playful whine, held with a grin on his lips. "Are you really gonna be mad if I just pass out on the floor right here? I doubt you will be."
He looks at her with that smile, tilting his helm with an audial up higher than the other. His optics follow her as she sits down with the tea, watching her place the tray. Grimlock grunts and sits up, his tired frame giving a whine of protest. "Primus' sake, I'm gettin' old-"
“If you’re going to pass out on my couch, then at least have a few sips of tea.” She chuckled, taking the tea pot and poured the dark liquid into the tea cup before it to the larger mech. She realized she could have given him a bigger cup judging from how small it looks in his servo.
“You’re not old. Just need some rest and you’ll be good to go.” Adriana then moved to pour herself a cup. One sugar cup inside the tea cup and a good pour of hot tea to melt the sugar cube.

"Oh, shush!" She giggled, playfully dismissing his comments. "Now you're just being modest. It's not much, but it is home. Everything is just where it has to be. Except my data pads as you can see. So many to read, yet so little space."
A soft chuckle in response, softening his voice. "Come on, it's true, you know that. You've done better here than I ever could, simple as that."

"When I built it, it was made to keep the beast in me trapped in case I ever lost control. But now it just... Feels cold, unwelcoming. Home doesn't feel like home."
“Then that means you have no place to go if you don’t plan on returning there.” She said, frowning some upon hearing this. All this time, his ‘home’ was more of a cage than anything else.
“What if… that’s is…” She gulped a bit until clearing her throat when an idea came into mind. “What if you stay here with me? That is until you find a place you can properly call your home.”
His audials flick and perk, a peak of interest, followed by concern. "You sure I'm not too big?" A chuckle on his breath, "I don't want to break anything in there. I appreciate the offer, but I can't risk damaging your home. I'll probably find a good tree or rock to rest under."
Grimlock wanted to accept it, so bad, he'd been out in the wilderness for over a year, he missed the comforts of a home.
"You will do no such thing." She stopped him right there, gripping his forearm as if the mech was about to run off from here. "You've been gone for who knows how long and who knows where've been staying at."
It was almost enduring and humorous from the way she was scolding him. But there was genuine concern and care for his well-being. She was sure she could make some space for him here. "Please, let me take care of you in this moment."

He turns to head down the hill, his large arms carrying her with ease. She was so tiny and light compared to him, then again, he was an absolute behemoth of a mech.
"I can't even begin to tell you how much I missed this island. It's so quiet. Don't know if I ever want to step foot off it again."
Her arms remained around him for support and while she remained quiet on the way back home, her spark was thumping against her chest plate and cheek plates were warming. He was carrying her so easily without break a sweat.
She looked up at the mech and tilted her helm some before teasing him. “Does this mean we cannot travel together if you do not want to step foot off this island?”
He tilts his helm, thinking for a moment before he looks down at her to respond, his voice soft, almost a whisper. Grimlock's optics shifted ever so slightly, looking more like orange. "I could make an exception, if it was with you."
There's a light, genuine smile on his face now, a kindness in his eyes, no, something deeper. It hangs for a moment before shifting back to their usual red, and he's focused back on the path.
Adriana noticed the change in his optics, having gone from his usual red to orange. It made her optics widened just a bit when seeing the change in color. But it was what he said that her cheek plates grow that much warmer.
“G-good. Besides, there’s so many places to go. So many places to see and admire.” She said, tightening her grip around him.
"We'd have to use holoforms for the majority of them I'd imagine." He nods, "I uh, need to update mine. It doesn't feel like me anymore. Gonna get some help from a mech I know to edit it."
They approach Adriana's home, where Grimlock stops and gets on a knee, carefully letting her back on the ground. "You've been busy here by the looks."
“Well, when you have that all patched up then we can figure out where to travel. Maybe partake in some human rituals like going to the beach.” She smiled, the thought of having ‘fun under the sun’ coming to mind.
Once they arrived to her place, gently was she set down in her pedes and she stretched her legs. Although she already missed his warmth. “I’ve had to maintain a few things here and there. Declutter and reorganize. I suppose the same will have to happen when you tend to your florals again.”

"Well, you have been sitting up here for hours, Adriana. I don't think you realised just how long it's been. It's three in the morning." Grimlock looks down at her, coaxing her to look up at him with a digit to her chin.
"Come on, you need some rest. I'm home now, and I won't be disappearing again for a very long time."
Her optics fluttered opened when she felt his digit on her chin and looked up at the Dinobot. Was it really that late that she’s been out here all this time? How time really flies.

"Oh no you don't-" He's quick to snatch her pad with his other servo, hooking it onto his hip before his arms shift and scoop her up as he stands, carrying her with a chuckle. "You really think you'd get a chance to walk?"
