[AM]: Ah... Itās my birthday.

@automatousmarionette | Sammie ;;Ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Itād been a while since heād seen this girlā he hopes sheās doing better today than she was the last he saw her. The android who had a kitten in his pocket and the other who suspiciously rang familiar in a sense of feeling. He doesnāt hesitate even through his thoughts to wave to get her attention before picking her up by the sides with a wide smile on his face. Right, as he expected, sheās not human. The weight of her casing is too much to possibly be human in any light for as small as she is. Still though he has no difficulty, properly displaying his affections before he settles her back on her feet and gently pats her head. His hands soon move toĀ āspeakā with his enthusiasm,ā[ Hello again, Rosa! Are you doing well this afternoon? ]ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā It had been a long while since she had seen the familiar android from before, though the last time she saw him it had been a rough few months. Now, with her mind a lot more stable and at peace, she seemed much more open and no longer withdrawn into herself physically. She doesnāt even notice said android going straight for her, only noticing when he is finally in front of her and her line of sight suddenly shifts way up than it should. That got a surprised squeak from the girl, her hands flying to grab onto his hands which held her up with ease, something that...never really happened. Her artificial skin around her cheeks colored in pale pink, a new feature she had recently installed into her system and hardware, though the gears in mechanisms whirred within her body as usual with her embarrassment.
āS-Sammie !ā She sounds surprised, her feet swinging in air a bit with the sudden loss of solid ground beneath her. Once she is settled back down, she brushes down her blouse and skirt, watching the other with evident amusement. Someone was excited, almost like a pup. How cute.
ā[Itās been a while, Sammie ! Iām well, and you ? What are you doing around these parts of the city ?]ā

Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ah, so thatās how it was. He couldnāt blame Thanatos for getting up in arms and dishing out punishment for infringing upon his territory. There was no additive to the thought, noĀ ābutā orĀ āwellā, it was just something that happened and the unfortunate result was suffered. Fingers card through his hair and he sighs as he listens further. There were so many versions of everyone that he had to pause for a moment and sort out which ones it might be.Ā ĪĻĪæĻĻĪæĻία was an unfortunate one in this way. There were no others of him, he was not something that could be copied or thrown about in the universes because he existed across all of them. To at least have a variation in a parallel world would be nice, he thinks. Maybe he could have been something simpler than what he was but as he was it wasnāt a possibility to exist in tandem with even an alternate. He sorts his thoughts and idly turns his gaze to her.
āIāll tell ya somethināā Balance, Rosa. Everything has it. Every side has a story and every story has a side, every reason has a reflection and as unfortunate as the results may be for some the results of the party inflicting it are different. There are thousands of you and thousands of him, thousands of endless results and equations. You just happened to be the one that suffered out of them. Everything is finite and infinite all at the same time and existence is contradictory for it, as complex as everything is its simple when put: Ya fucked up and ya got the sword for it.ā It mightāve sounded a bit harsh to put it that way but ĪĻĪæĻĻĪæĻία never had been one to really sugarcoat anything. There was a method to his madness and a reasoning for it all.Ā āBalance is unforgiving yet merciful. You suffered yet ya ended up in a primordial godās domain all over again with a different result.āĀ
To simply exist in his ether was an unfathomable thing all on its own yet something easily done.Ā āIn reality everything and nothing is scripted, fates and destinies are inconsequential yet impervious. Youāll never forget it, itāll hurt you in some way for the rest of your existence and itāll happen again to another version of yaā but the difference is simpler. This version of ya some how put in a string of numbers that equated to this location at this time and this space. What happened is unfortunate and unrelated to me yet related all the same since you ended up here with one of the few primordial creatures that wonāt give a shit about ya beinā in his territory. Your trauma doesnāt actually mean anything to me yet my existence as a whole can help mend it because it means nothing. I donāt mind ya beinā here despite knowinā of your prior transgressions with another, holdinā sympathy or pity for the trauma ya suffered would only debase the fact that ya survived it well enough.āĀ
Waving a hand dismissively, green hues drifted back to his computer as he thinks on the effort to explain further and finds it too troublesome. It doesnāt take but a moment later for him to be holding his palm out behind him for a tray to be slipped into his fingers. Silent lasses they were, just waltzing in without a word and snickering only after heād already grabbed the tray of cookies and put them on the table.Ā āThank ya, ladies~,ā he hummed the words and picked up one of the treats that would disappear quickly behind sharp jowls.Ā āCan ya imagine going to thousands of places in a day to take care of your job? Modernizing the system actually reduces the workload Iād suffer if I hadnāt. Iāve only just started myĀ āpaperworkā when ya got here and Iām almost through half of it.ā A voice of one particular witch piped up behind him, the woman grinning widely and patting his head as she spoke,Ā Heās unimaginably lazy actually.Ā āNo arguments with that statement, I fucking hate doing more than necessary. As rudimentary and ordinary as it might seem, I aināt about to give myself more work just to look cool.āĀ
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Honestly, she half expected him to not want her within his domain after she straight up admitted to having done something to another primordial god which resulted in a well-deserved punishment. No matter how one presents themselves, surely there are limits to oneās patience. What she did not expect was... that. The android blinks, not having expected him to take his time and focus off of his work to tell her how he saw things, how it all worked for him. Sure, most would find what he said harsh, but it was the truth. She made an attempt on another godās domain and she paid for it, simple as that. The hurt and trauma inflicted upon her was deserved, and no matter how much it hurt and haunted her, it was not worth the pity or sympathy.
Surprisingly enough, she seems to take his words with a stride, not at all hurt by their edges and harshness, there was, after all, a sense of balance to them. It may be harsh, but truth was supposed to lead to a better path in life.Ā āYouāre absolutely right, and I canāt find anything to disagree with you. Then again, disagreeing with a god about their own domain seems like an idiotic thing to do.ā Toeing off her ballerina flats and pulling her legs up on the couch, she was comfortable enough in her surroundings to relax in such a way.Ā āI do not wish anyoneās pity or sympathy for a well deserved punishment, it was done with a reason and, as such, has no qualms for anything like that. It... scarred and hurt me, yes, but in the grand scheme of things, the pain is irrelevant.ā
She takes her time to sip the last of her coffee, placing the empty cup on the edge of the table. Rosa smiles a little, it was an easy and understanding smile. āWhen you put it like that, maybe I can believe this is a way things balance themselves out. I wouldnāt really know, itās not an easy concept to wrap my head around. In a way it is logical, just as much as it is illogical, it explains everything and yet doesn't answer to a simple question such as why it even works like that. But if this happenstance is a way of balance at work... then Iām glad.ā
The sudden and quiet appearance of the witches startled her for a quick second, before her alertness simmered down to a calm, reaching to take a single cookie from the plate and nibble on it. Attentive blue eyes switch from Iso to the witch behind him and then back to the god again, another small smile blooming on her lips when he doesnāt disagree with being called lazy.Ā
āCanāt really blame you. I would hate to have the responsibilities that a god has. Itās just that the image of a god doing āpaperworkā is somehow... extremely human. Itās a bit baffling, no offence meant with that. ā The image of a god doing literal paperwork was stuck in her head now, funnily enough, and it highly amused her. Shit ! Donāt go and start snickering like a mad idiot now.

Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā ĪĻĪæĻĻĪæĻία had lived long enough to become the villain and the hero, to be everything and nothing in between. He was a tired and grumpy old man that loathed mornings (More so Apollo) and hated those bastardsĀ and their ridiculous whims to send their childrenĀ at him like he were some kind of primordial questing beast. Certainly he could understand their caution and fear but he could also understand how terrifying it must be for those kids who were handed a sword and given next to no information on their target. To sacrifice their own offspring in search of a solution that would rend existence in twoā heād been expecting that situation for a moment when she first arrived and had been more than delighted to accept anything else.Ā
The embarrassment is a nice touch to it all, he thinks. Sheās feeling more normally and the balance is corrected again so heās more or less comfortable. Though the apology is misplaced. Heās never been one to care much for those asinine things such as manners or empathy towards him.Ā āSāfine, kid. Aināt like Iām bothered that much by such things,ā if anything he was just readily back to work without much care either way. There was a balance to everything, even himself. Though at the notion of her having known a few other Primordial creatures, even he felt a bit sorry for her. There were and endless amount of them, they werenāt a finite existence because existence itself was not finite. Of course there would beĀ āgoodā andĀ ābadā ones, ones that would be kind and some that were more cruel than any could possibly imagine.Ā
He sticks his tongue out in disgust for the thought like heād eaten something sour.Ā āGross. Mustāa been some downright cunts tā make yā so upset thā minute ya saw me.ā He shakes his head once more and waves a hand dismissively,āLike I said, sāfine. Canāt help what ya feel and canāt help who youāve met. Best to sort it out and deal with it as it comes. Pleasure to meet ya too, Rosa.ā Perhaps this one he could semi-get along with. Granted, the wonder of if she could handle him was another matter all together.Ā ĪĻĪæĻĻĪæĻία wasnāt exactly the most idealĀ ābuddyā to have after all, though apparently he was far better than some of the ones sheās come across. Its her tentative curiosity however that has him snickering beneath his breath.Ā
āBat shaped cookies. Made with dragon fire by witches in the kitchens,ā as he spoke he gestured over his shoulder with his thumb at the hall.Ā āTheyāll be here in about five minutes or so from that corridor specifically. So ya donāt get spooked by their sudden appearance.āĀ
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Blue, bright eyes are peaking from over the mug of her steaming, aromatic coffee as she takes a sip. All of her attention is on the God sitting nearby, taking note of his appearance and the heap of paperwork he was apparently doing. Really, what was with Gods and all the paperwork ? He wasnāt the only one she had met who was apparently perpetually trapped in paperwork and she found it strange, but also amusing.
Appearance wise, he was definitely a sight for sore eyes. Knowing that there was a Goddess of Discord out there bearing her face was somewhat upsetting, and having met so many iterations of people she loved because of parallel universes, Iso was a fresh face she was more than happy to see.
āWell...ā She starts, though stops short in her reply, taking a moment to think over her words and how to best explain it. Her perfectly manicured nails lightly tap at the ceramic of the mug, before she pulls one hand to reach up and push some of her hair behind her ear.Ā āNot without reason. Me and War made a transgression upon Thanatosā domain, he retaliated with punishment. War was brought close to absolute destruction of his essence whilst I...ā There was a slight waver of her voice, and her hand rested underneath her chest. Recalling the memory brought back a wave of phantom pain, and for a moment, she frowns, the corners of her eyes crinkling and eyebrows knitting together in pain.
ā...I endured Prometheusā punishment for a while.ā Breathing out slowly, she simply rests her hand in her lap, staring at her mug, before glancing sideways at Iso, forcing a small smile on her lips.Ā āIām not without fault, thereās also Deathās side to the story, but... you know... That doesnāt really lessen any trauma gained from it. Hence the reaction.ā That week had been a living hell for the android, her consciousness forced into a living body, an eagle prying open her chest to feast on her liver, every single day. But the last day had been the worst of them all, and she shivers as she recalls it, her memory too vivid not to recall it, a curse left by Death - she would never be able to rid herself of the memory of a week long torture. Still, she remained calm as she recalled the memory, her emotions in check for the most part, save for the distant feeling of pain and slight damp of her mood.
She looks back at the hallway that Iso pointed out to her, humming anĀ āokā and nodding in response, before looking back at her coffee and taking another sip, the mug almost empty now. Her focus is back on the paperwork Iso was trying to work through, and she isnāt able to keep herself from asking about it, her curiosity getting the best of her.Ā āThanatos also did a lot of paperwork, but I never understood why it was so important for Gods to do so much of it. Seems rather ordinary and rudimentary ?ā

Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā ĪĻĪæĻĻĪæĻία, balance. He existed everywhere in every frame at a constant rate. Anyone his god forsaken age would be fed up with the state of people on all levels be they god or mortal. His entire self contradicted and blended concerning both his personality and action and he was near-omniscient creature that simply had a terrible morning attitude. Well, his attitude in general was awful but at least his way of speech often contradicted his action. That feeling of the ether being played with by sciences only served to annoy him further, mortals evolved too quickly. However, this one didnāt seem to have any intention of truly bugging him so he was going about his usual routine whether she stuck around or not. It was her genuine confusion and suddenly numbed panic that caught his senses and he narrowed his eyes.Ā
Confounding thing, to control the actual range of emotion meant to mess with a certain balance of existence. It happened frequently but it still had his ears pinning downwards and his eyes squinting in distaste as he worked in silence. Another swig of his more-sugar-than-coffee drink and he turned soft greens to the girl. Something must have happened for her to be so rigid and force herself into a state of neutrality. The primordial creature doesnāt set aside his work or his grumpy expression when he reaches out with his unoccupied hand to pat the girlās head.Ā āLook kid, so long as youāre not here to stir up any shit or have me evil monologue like some third rate cartoon villain to suit some asinine situation, I donāt give a single fuck about ya hanginā around.ā Again, his words contradict his state of expression but he simply withdraws his hand and gets back to work.Ā
Another genocide here and another civilization reset there, his sharp jowls flashed when he yawned and groaned about dumbass mortals and their stupid ways. Truly, ĪĻĪæĻĻĪæĻία could not have cared any less or more than he did about some random mechanical girl popping up in his space. Whether she intended to or not, she was here and although he was hardly hospitable in personality he had yet to turn her away or react aggressively other than verbally.Ā āĪĻĪæĻĻĪæĻία, you can call me Iso. I know all, see all, insert more primordial godly shit of near-omniscient bullshit we spout here. May the pajamas of your past life give you good rest or some shit. You can relax on the forced neutrality, or panic, whatever the fuck it is youāre inclined to feel at the moment. Iāve no intention of maiming a harmless little android that just accidentally wound up here.āĀ
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā For someone so young and inexperienced in life, she had been through so much. Her first two years of life were the most tumultuous ones, barely having gotten hang of her existence and identity, she was forced to mingle with multiple gods, even being created in the image of one woman who later ascended into godhood. Another adopted her as his sibling, and though she cherishes him immensely, she is also very much aware of how destructive and dangerous he could be, though his malice had never been directed towards her. And another left such a strong impression in the form of a curse that still haunts her to this day.
It seemed that she wasnāt able to fool him with her forced neutrality, maybe this was another weird omniscient thing about Primordial Gods, though none had been so keen on her emotions as this guy. She didnāt even notice a hand in coming, so when she felt weight onto the top of her head, Rosa froze up immediately, wide blue eyes flying up to meet his green ones. In that moment, it really felt like this would be where her flee or fight instincts kicked in, but once he spoke, the fearful glint in her eyes melted away, replaced with sheer embarrassment.Ā ā...Ok. Sorry...ā
The android really did feel stupid for reacting and feeling the way she did. Not every single god out there was out to harm anyone they came across, hell, she had even met a rather nice one recently, so why would this one be any different ? Finally, she allowed herself to lean back in her seat, and take a sip of her unsweetened black coffee, while still cautious, she had definitely dropped most of her guards down.
āI am aware of the extent of powers Primordial Gods have... Iāve known a few,ā she speaks slowly, but clearly. That must be the reason why she had reacted in the way she did.Ā āIām Rosa, I apologize for my reaction towards your status. Itās.. nice to make acquaintance with you, Iso.ā
She takes another sip of her coffee. A small pause.Ā ā..You said there would be cookies ?ā Finally, she turns to face him again, having avoided looking at him to save herself from more embarrassment, but here she was, looking at him with curious if not tentative blues.

Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā āWe normally use it to evade such ores, heavy metals can prove difficult to move through when you have no limbs,ā he chuckled softly, thoroughly amused by the aspect of having arms himself. Itās been over four hundred years and heās still so utterly delighted by the fact that he has fingers that he smiles whenever he picks something up! His features retain that smile though growing more warm and sincere instead of his usual enthused one at her reaction. Somehow its a little sad for her to be so surprised that someone would be overjoyed by her existence but heās come across it quite a lot in recent years. Humans just didnāt know how beautiful they were individually and that aspect seemed to spread across other species as well.Ā
The serpent smiles softly at the odd noise he hears but he says nothing of it. Its quite the adorable reaction, really. Ah how he wanted to just bury her in the absolute truths of his words but he figured he would cut her a break and not further her bashfulness. He tilts his head a bit at her words of being impressed by his reaction, curiously wondering about it before he realizes what sheās saying.Ā āAh yes, I know what youāre referring to. Truthfully some deities get too attached to their positions and power, they feel they have to be worshiped and fawned over constantly to retain their positions but in realityā the rest of us just find them absolutely childish for their behaviour.ā To lash out over something so simple. It was merely the cycle of things. Humans outgrew their beliefs all the time, changed them or forgot them, left them in the ruins of their ancestorsā its just how things were.Ā
āI lived a long life as a simple snake. Over eighty years in my time frame. Humans moved into my territory but they never caused me nor any others any harm, so I took to looking after them. I would keep pests out of their crops and when they started to worship me because I was a breed theyād never witnessed before and thought me a spirit of some kindā I never bit or constricted them for picking me up or touching me. When I died as all creatures do, I was given the choice to become a Deity and continue taking care of the humans I had come to adore so much. They were like my children, of course I wanted to take care of them so I accepted. Over time they evolved, buildings became ruins, temples were lost and things changed. Its only natural theyād move on from their ancestorās beliefs. I still loved them anyways and left my blessings for them when I went.āĀ
He grinned widely, at her smile, humming thoughtfully. Yes, this was a good look for her. She looked even more darling with that smile! Of course that only meant Reeves was definitely going to try to get far more smiles out of her.Ā āNow I have to say that is a useful trait to have,ā he chuckled and shook his head.Ā āIām fine, although I am cold blooded and I really do not like the cold, Iāve grown used to being in it from time to time. Granted I do often find my way into peopleās jackets once Iām positive they donāt dislike snakes. Letās not have anyone figure out their random sunbeam snake is actually a deity though.āĀ
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā It really was sad, wasnāt it ? These days it was much more common to run into others who simply did not appreciate themselves enough, and Rosa was one of them. Her life had been tumultuous to say the least, so when someone said that her existence was beautiful was incredibly shocking to her.
Please spare the poor robot girl, she simply would not be able to handle more doting like that. He certainly wouldnāt want an android who short-circuited before him and giving him a good scare. This, however, gives her the opportunity to recoup some of her lost composure.
āIāve known a fair number of gods who turned bitter with their lives, so Iām genuinely surprised to find one who was fine with moving on.ā She really did seem genuinely surprised and impressed by it. It seems she had enough experience with other deities to make an assessment like that, though she smiles, huffing out a small laugh.Ā āThough I guess my luck was just shitty with having run into so many in my short lifespan.ā
āA humble beginning followed by a life of immortality. I can see why you are as you are, then,ā Rosa smiles again, genuine and relieved. A snake who became a god after a long life of protecting humans even when he didnāt need to. That alone was enough to convince the woman that he was a gentle and kind soul.
She blinks, looking around to find no soul around them in that very moment, before looking down at her outfit, reaching to zip up her jacket, the interior warm and cozy.Ā āYouāre free to hop into my jacket, I can take us to a warmer place than a random park out here,ā she speaks, softly smiling, very much willing to sacrifice her own warmth (or lack thereof) for the guy.

@automatousmarionette | ĪĻĪæĻĻĪæĻία ;;Ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā The god was, as usual, a grumpy and annoyed creature in the mornings. Heād woken up to a beam of unholy light searing his corneas again and cursed Apollo like no oneās business for a good hour. Gods alive, he wanted them to die already but could only sigh and get up. Balance was balance and unfortunately he was the keeper of it, so much to his chagrin and annoyance with those pestsā he couldnāt just go and rip the manās throat out as much as he wouldāve loved to. His morning routine is simple. Fall out of bed, crawl to the door and some how find his way to his feet then get coffee and dump a quarter cup of sugar and flavoured syrup into it. Its about this time though that he feels that pull of his ether being opened and narrows his eyes over his mug, staring in the direction it was happening in and waiting for some rambunctious littleĀ āheroā child to come out swinging.Ā
However, heās pleasantly surprised (for once in his life) when it isnāt.Ā ā.. Oh. Not human nor are ya some little pestering demi-god.ā His ears lift from their lowered position of annoyance and he casually takes another drink of his coffee.Ā āCoffeeās on the counter, kid.ā Did this guy have any care at all that there was a stranger in his home let alone one that clearly was not of the organic variety? Not really. ĪĻĪæĻĻĪæĻία didnāt care who or what she was so long as she wasnāt here to give him any shit. The god settles down at his sofa, still in his pajamas with bedhead galore and idly glances over.Ā āYa gonna pop a squat or what, kid? Iām a Primordial God, I aināt got all day to be babysitting so tell me what youāre here for. Blessinā? Hopeful wishing? Maybe to not be a little shit and cause trouble early in the morning when I already wanna kill Apolloās stupid ass for death beaming my corneas?āĀ
He flicks his wrist to have his desk move over to him, idly setting up and setting his coffee aside in favour of pulling up his work spread for today. Even a primordial god has to update his system after all.Ā āIf you say youāre here to earn your mettle or some shit Iām going to make a really bad fucking pun and tell you to get out. But if youāre not then feel free to get comfortable, witchesāll be by in twenty to bring bat shaped chocolate chip fudge cookies.ā Ah yes. Such elegance for a man of his standing.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Dear Gods above, why did it have to be her ? It was already enough to input the wrong coordinates, that alone had earned her a few scares before, but showing up in another unknown plane of existence and before a Primordial God ? Luck was never on her side, it seemed. It was a shock to appear in a completely unknown environment, a living space for someone, especially having that person who lived there be within that space in the exact same time, and... seemingly having known sheād be there ?Ā
Poor girl looks absolutely confused, first at the fact that he could simply pin-point where she would appear, the rather glaring stare he had been giving her before seemingly turning less annoyed, then apparently being able to assess that she was not human at all, before telling her to get herself some coffee if she wanted to. The tiniest and quietest ofĀ āwhatās escaped her, looking at the man, then at the coffee pot on the counter, and then back at the man who had plopped his ass down on the couch.Ā
Interestingly, she freezes up when he mentioned he is a Primordial God, a brief flash of panic crosses her expression, before she forces herself to switch to neutral, moving to grab a cup and pour herself some coffee, taking a free seat nearby the God, though sitting at the very edge of it, back and shoulders taut. Huh... Interesting reaction to that, wasnāt it ?
āIām not-- I donāt want anything.. It was a genuine mistake that led me here. I didnāt mean to intrude upon your space.ā An intruder who was genuinely sorry for just appearing out of the blue ? Had to have been a first for this guy. The android didnāt even so much as look at him, instead staring down at the cup of steaming coffee in her hands, which rested in her lap.
