Heads up: Talk of consumption of blood, self harm, abuse, brief eating disorder mention (recovery), physical shifting & prey drive below. The topics surrounding mental illness & mistreatment mentioned are not discussed in a venting manner, nor do I go much into detail- since I've had these experiences, much of my life is influenced with it. Topics abridged: Vampirism, bodil shifting & spirituality.

As I decided to dive back and bite of more than I could chew (writing 4 essays simultaneously) I once again found a bunch of cool resources on real vampires, and once again felt that what I read deeply resonated with me. My body is just weird, It feels weird, it acts weird. For many years, probably as long as I remember I've struggled with lightheadedness. There's always been a pull to the ground, a gait on all fours. I can't really stand often. I assure you, around once a year I've gone to get it checked out, and every year I've gotten told "there's nothing wrong". Perhaps this is the reason why, a condition and need not recognized by medicine at the current time. I've tried getting more iron, I'm actively working towards drinking more, I've recovered from the immediate consequences of my eating disorder. But I feel my lightheadedness is somehow worse? I feel like my body keeps slipping away from its veiled state. While my childhood is blurry because of ptsd, it brings me back to the days I was with my abuser. We shared our beliefs that we were wolfbloods, greatly awaiting our first shift. I have vague slivers of memory where my bones shifted, head throbbed and fur stood up. As I do, I think it also has to do with my werewolfhood. Not capable of hunting, never "safe enough" to shift into a comfortable state. I guess it is one of the reasons I have found comfort in the scratching of my skin, and lapping up my blood like a dog extracting the last water in their bowl. It's the closest I get to the hunting I need. I've gotten a lot of flares and feral shifts. My body convulsing, a flow of heat and "pushing" towards my muzzle, teeth, paw tips etc. A stronger hunger, but nausea at the consumption of most. My claws lean back to the scratches and hardened blood above them. My taste buds seemingly have also shifted a bunch as of late. Both in the disgust and enjoyment department. I got reminded that most folk, humans specifically, do not find the images of raw meat appetizing. (I tried to ask my friends if they ever get cravings for them, who were a tad bit horrified/lh) The ish past week my sleep has been, different. I've woken up with slim scratches, aches and bruises. But the doors to my room is closed, I have never had growing pains- and stopped growing years ago. I feel that my recent craving for meat may also be connected to this. I've also felt a bit off mentally? Like clouded almost. I'm always mentally shifted, but as of recently I've been less able to push away my behaviours to fit in. I've been unstable bipedaly, and my back hurts a bunch. I do have a "normal" possibility for why this pain is, but considering how irregular it has been I'm less sure. And connecting any of my aspects to nonhumanity is affirming. [ Pt: The ish past week my sleep has been, different. [...] I've also felt a bit off mentally?. End PT version sentences.] While I'm mainly questioning sanguinarity, psychic vampirism (and other types as well) is also intriguing. I recall how I've felt drained by people in my past, and often feel emotion in my entire body- flows of sensations spreading through my limbs. And my weird duality of wanting to be around certain beings, other nonhumans specifically- yet not liking being surrounded by others in most other situations- specifically humans and large crowds. I get overwhelmed by the smell, and perhaps, energy? I've thought more about spirituality as well. Once again at the plethora of spiritual Were experiences, shifting theories etc. I wonder if I do have some energy within me? If that explains some of the things I sense. Do I ever spiritually shift? Metaphysically shift? Astrally shift? Aurally shift? I'm starting to get rid of my fear of "believing". At the end of the day, there is nothing wrong with it- and I've never considered others nonhuman beliefs to be something negative. I still need to think before being sure. Species and identity is a matter of discovery I've found. I guess I may never be fully sure.

I've been working on a document containing a bunch of old alter- and nonhuman sources and during it has been reminded of the predjudicecs new and old. With my brain, when someone tries to tell me that physical nonhumans have "never been valid" or some bs like that I want to *prove* it's false. I use the sources I've collected to say; "hey we have always existed. And if you're on about the "true definition" of therianthropy, we have long agreed there is none. Almost every site, no matter their focus states "hey I am not *the* voice on the definition, everyone defines it differently". Also how therianthropy itself, has evolved and changed a fuck ton. From being synonomous with Were, being a subtype of Were, being a counterpart to Were, replacing the term Were etc. So if you really cared about only describing therianthropy as singular sites did "back in the old days" go on that therianthropy is "a connection", go on saying it is "transforming into an animal", that it is spiritual-exclusive etc." But after writing my blocks of texts, after giving sources, I tend to be met with "but *insert saneist argument*" or not responded to at all. I must admit that it shouldn't matter. Why would someone so badly want to exclude others? Especially when there is no true reason for it. I shouldn't have to prove my right to my voice. But we do. Whether the grilling comes from misinformation, saneism, elitism or wish to appeal to orthohumans. So what's my positive message here? Well, remember that, even as the spiritual therian elitists of teh past would say "noone can tell you who or what you are and what you aren't." Therianthropy, otherkinity, alterhumanity etc. is different for all. Especially with terms like therianthropy, your perception of your identity is what matters most, not what others say you "should feel". Remember that some people who are widely accepted as therians today, would have been met with a lot of sceptisism in the past- And that some people who where considered therian in the past, may no longer be widely recognised as such. And there is nothing wrong with either, language is complex just as identity is. You, no matter the nature of your identity, shouldn't have to "prove" your identity's existence to someone else. Cause most times, you can't. Even if you try "proving" an identity you are often met with sceptisism regardless. Remember, the sceptisism doesn't change who you are. So if you see a pshifter, a chosen therian, a nonshifting therian, a physical therian, old-school transspecies Were, a biological otherkin, a contherian etc.- If your first thought is "who would believe that" or "that's not true", think about how others would percieve *your* identity. Regardless if you are a mental, physical, spiritual, emotional, biological or other type of therian, you cannot prove to everyone your identity is "true" based on others metrics. Treat others as you'd want to be treated. If you don't share the same beliefs as another therian, that's okay. Just don't weaponize your different perceptions of the world. Anti-therians would do the same to you, regardless of how "extreme" your identity is dubbed. You are valid. Your identity is yours and yours alone. It is and should always be your choice how much and what of your identity you share with others. Respect the wide beliefs and experiences our community was built on, it is something to be charished, not turned into a valid-ness contest. Just like every generation of Weres, Therianthropes and Shifters we are as diverse as ever, and "ask N number of X about the definition of X and you will get N answers."

Just got an excuse to crawl all the way under my bed and gosh it was so species euphoric. I was helping retrieving another cat as well. I truly understand why he hid there, it's comfortable, safe and most of all isolated. You can't be just taken from there.... Unless a bigger cat is helping you into your carrier that is/lh

I love being nonhuman man. I love when I'm inside and can be myself. I love when I go outside and my senses take in the wonders of nature. I love the euphoria of eating meat. I love the euphoria of eating vegetables.

I love existing in a place I know I belong. I love sharing my affection for and interest in my hearttypes.

I love looking at pictures and going "yes that's me", "yes that's my home" , "yes that's what surrounds me".

I know it's easy to get up in all the world's horrors, the problems arising when we're ourselves etc. I'm extremely guilty of this. But sometimes it's good to try, and hopefully succeed seeing the goods things.

i've been trying to find one to find more labels for myself (microlabel hoarder here) but find it hard to even know where to start for less common terms lol

Yes you recall correctly I am making one! After some real life stuff happend I got a bit burned out working on it, but it's still in the works. I just need to get myself to clarify coiner's names and transfer ownership. I can't be sure how long it will take but know it is still in process. If you wish to find microlabels I reccomend searching for ex "alterhuman coining" and just scrolling. I tend to find something with little notes almost every time. Having a fictional heathome is really cool! I can visit it even when it isn't possible (or comfortable) to go outside, take transport etc. Wirh the big BUT that I can't feel fully emerced in it. I really want to get back irno influencing my dreams. Cause there I CAN visit those places.

Being in an animalistic relationship with my mate is amazing. He pets me, cares for me, plays with me. Yesterday, I got to play with some super fun rubber rings... Pet regression, pet play, and nonhumanity truly come together at times, hehe. (They are almost inseparable in my case) While I'm wild, I'd say (despite my majority wild kintypes) I am overall more domestic than feral.

Like indeed the education system is not made for nonhumans. A literal werewolf, cat and fox will not do well in a stressful enviourment. Especially if it's been mistreated. An abused animal won't do well in envouements like it. Ptsd indeed/lh

Also, it explains my bodil experiences. My claws get sharp. My mouth craves the taste of blood. My body moves around, shifts, and slips into my true form. Why my body feels so frail and unbalanced on my hind legs. I easily get dizzy when standing. (dw I've checked it out countless times and nothings wrong)

Before I start, if anyone accuses me of AI generating the points I make in this post because I'm utilizing what I learned through my special interest in creative writing, I will eat you. I know this is not how my usual posts look, but I'm not going to half-ass this for the sake of upholding my usual lighthearted tone.

I want to say something about this, and what I say here, I will be leaving a comment (or several) saying the same under that post and the comment in the second screenshot.

To start with — and I feel like this should be obvious — you cannot say "There is no wrong way to be alterhuman," and "You're experiences are valid, no matter what, no exceptions," and then turn around and say "But you have to recognize you're in some way human though." It is extremely hypocritical and you are contradicting the exact point you're trying to make.

There are beings who were born nonhuman and have thus never been human at any point in their life. (For us — bodily, as we are plural and have varying alterhuman identities between us — we were born, physically, biologically, an elf and have been an elf our entire life and will die an elf.) There are beings who are biologically nonhuman right down to their organs — a fact that you cannot possibly know just by looking at them or assume just by how you perceive them. And might I add, even if you thought you could, why would you care what species someone's biology aligns with?

There are circumstances where it would be harmful to the individual to reality check or force them to acknowledge that by the outside world they might be percieved as human. Regardless of whether you understand, even regardless of whether you believe them, it is always better to be respectful than to risk causing harm to someone by denying them the right to identify how they want or how they feel is right or correct to their personal lived experiences.

You are not in their body or their brain. You are not experiencing the same things the same way they do. You do not have to right to deny the validity of their experiences or identity no matter what your stance is on the subject. Whether someone's identity is chosen, stemming from delusions, based in a disorder or trauma, physical, biological, psychological, emotional, spiritual, or anything, to quote your post OP, "There are no exceptions. Your experiences, feelings, and identity are valid."

The only true "cringe" is me seeing my old messages where I was starting to educate myself on physical alterhumanity, but wasn't all the way there. Cough cough *ideas of biological alterhumanity inherently being tied to delusion and generally a part of physical alterhumantiy". It sucks I did think that way, but I'm glad to have continued educate myself. This is why I talk so much about physical and biological alterhumaity. Because I was one who didn't understand, yet fitted perfectly in the definition. Because the online places I was on just didn't treat the experiences as true. So I am sharing these painful (/lh) memories to prove that respect and correct information coems from understanding and listening to those in the community. It made me find others like me, the corner of the internet I feel the most home. Really grateful for you all over here :3
