you booked the night train for a reason...
“men dont like that. its such a turn off” good . turn off . where is ur off button . shut up . please stop making noise
I’m elated to tell you that my 9th studio album, and folklore’s sister record, will be out tonight at midnight eastern. It’s called evermore. To put it plainly, we just couldn’t stop writing songs. To try and put it more poetically, it feels like we were standing on the edge of the folklorian woods and had a choice: to turn and go back or to travel further into the forest of this music. We chose to wander deeper in. I’ve never done this before. In the past I’ve always treated albums as one-off eras and moved onto planning the next one after an album was released. There was something different with folklore. In making it, I felt less like I was departing and more like I was returning. I loved the escapism I found in these imaginary/not imaginary tales. I loved the ways you welcomed the dreamscapes and tragedies and epic tales of love lost and found into your lives. So I just kept writing them. And I loved creating these songs with Aaron Dessner, Jack Antonoff, WB, and Justin Vernon. We’ve also welcomed some new (and longtime) friends to our musical kitchen table this time around…

“taylor swift isn’t even a good musician” actually she is, to the point where well liked songwriters like paul mccartney and bruce springsteen have praised her lyricism and composition. you just listened to 22 and decided she wasn’t allowed to write fun songs alongside her masterfully crafted ballads.
*taps my invisible string* is this thing on?
Folklore.

And when you are young, they assume you know nothing
in the topic: things nobody asked me for, I brought: My very first Taylor Swift theories: Champagne problems, is what happened between a guy (whose name IDK...) and Dorothea, and the whole proposal she declined...because she wanted to pursue her Hollywood dream. And happiness is Dorotheas perspective about the whole thing, and wishing well someone she hurted, but how everything about gossip and things that were said about her in champagne problems, also hurted her.
While Dorothea (the song) is her lost love point of view about her...
thank you in advance for your attention. (this may already have made up by someone else, but I am so proud of myself cause I got to this conclution all alone so... )
WILLOW (2020) TAYLOR SWIFT: the more that you say, the less I know, wherever you stray, i follow
maybe taylor’s consistent “everyone wants to fuck my boyfriend” is less about people actually being obsessed with him/trying to “steal” him & a lot more about thinking so little of yourself that you assume anyone could walk up and take your happiness away from you, because you dont deserve it, and you’re so desperate to believe that this love is yours, but are so frantic that it’ll be stolen by someone more worthy than you, because to you every single woman out there is more worthy
