I know, but sleeping is so worth it, because you feel relaxed after a long day.
Point taken. Sleep is definitely necessary to recuperate.

Nope, I am definitely not a morning person. I rather just sleep the morning away.
But then you'll lose half your day!
No…don’t wake me up, give me at least ten more minutes and I’ll be up.
Sounds like someone's not an early bird.
silly rabbit! trix are for kids! favorite children's cereal and favorite cereal mascot go
I really like cheerios. Although, my favorite mascot is the Trix rabbit. I feel bad for the poor bunny.
First private vocal lesson today
I’m not playing out anytime in the near future! If you wanna hear how I sound then wait until I get my record deal like everyone else. Or I’ll consider a private party. Venues don’t pay shit.
Good for you. I took ballet when I was a kid and now I’m takin’ it again but I didn’t keep up with it in between. That class is for me, not for my career. I’m looking to get hired somewhere with a cute uniform. I refuse to wear khakis or a track suit.
Well, when that record deal happens I'll be sure to check out your music.
That's nice you're getting back into doing something you liked. I hope you have fun with it. And I'll let you know if I see some place with an especially cute uniform if I happen to spot one while you're still searching. But, I'm sure you could pull off any uniform, even if it wasn't cute and included khakis.
I moved here, goodness… three years ago now! Somehow it seems like so much shorter and so much longer at the same time.
Wow! So you moved here during your... Sophomore year? Since you're a college freshman now?
Yeah? I like the way you think.
Thanks! Oh, I don't believe I asked yet, where are you from?
Ah, gotcha! Yeah, I’ve definitely come across a few of those types in my time here.
How long have you lived here? Did you move here like I did or did you grow up in New York?
Oh, listening to music in your free time definitely wouldn’t be an issue- as long as ‘free time’ doesn’t equate to three in the morning. Glad to hear you know how to pick up after yourself, though.
Ahaha, I like everything in order. Cluttered spaces lead to cluttered minds, and I like my head clear and undistracted.
Aww, you think? Thanks! Erm… mostly nice?
I just mean I've met one or two that definitely have that harsher New York personality I'd heard of before. No one bad, though.
I think a better question might be what wasn’t bad about them. The first one was just so messy, it was like living in a disaster zone. And it wasn’t just that she wasn’t tidy; maybe I could’ve lived with that. But she always ate in the dorm, and she was not a clean eater, or someone who really understood the concept of cleaning up after herself. And then there was the music. Don’t get me wrong, I like music… but music at 3 in the morning? Not so much. And then there was my roommate last year, who started the year off by having her boyfriend over almost every night. Things got better when he broke up with her, but then of course it took her like a month to get over it, and let’s just say she wasn’t exactly quiet about her mourning. That’s just the tip of the iceberg, but I won’t bore you with any more of the details.
It's not boring, I don't mind hearing about them. They definitely sound horrible to room with, though. Don't worry, I'm really big into cleanliness and know how to clear up after myself. And I like music, but I rarely listen to it in my leisure time.
Still, it’s impressive.
Thanks! You're really nice. I was a little worried about the type of people I'd meet in New York, but everyone seems super sweet so far. Well, mostly.
First private vocal lesson today
I like jazz, soul and pop. Amy Winehouse is my shit.
Twice a week. And I have ballet and I’m lookin’ for a job.
She was really great. I know you just started vocal lessons here, but are you planning on performing anywhere soon? I'm interested in hearing how you sound now.
Wow, sounds like you're getting a nice schedule set up for yourself. I took ballet for awhile but had to cut out a lot of my extracurriculars once high school started. Good luck with finding a job, by the way. Any places you're hoping to get hired at in particular?
Believe me, so am I. After the roommates I’ve had the last two years, it’s a major relief.
Sounds like they weren't great experiences. What was so bad about them?
Well, those are good points. Ambitious, aren’t you?
I just always try to do my best. No point to living up to anything less.
WHAT IS YOUR EARLIEST HUMAN MEMORY?
Two or three years old. Watching Matilda while my preschool teacher tried to scrape the jelly off my peanut butter sandwich cause I’d accidentally taken my dad’s that morning and I didn't like jelly.
