I am very sorry for how long this has taken me, but I am very happy that I finished. :)

I was really bummed out that I didn't receive my gift. I'll still do this again in the future, but I really hope next time that I'll actually get something :(

As of this moment and going off this year's turnout/results, we're not sure if we'll do another run, but we'll let everyone know.

Hey, I haven't received my gift yet, but honestly I just want to thank you guys for all the hard work you've put into this. It's such a fun event, especially around the holidays, and I really enjoyed being a part of it, gift or not. Sorry some people are being kind of bitter about the current situation, but I really appreciate what you do. Thank you so much!

I’m really sorry about that, but thank you very much for the positive outlook. I know it seriously sucks to have put effort into your gift and not received anything back, but I promise, promise that every year we’ve done this, we’ve tried so hard to prevent this problem, but it’s just really impossible to account for everyone. People disappear, delete, are too busy, have emergencies, etc. 

As much as we try to hold everyone to their word, we can only do so much. We tried a new plan this year and unfortunately, it didn’t work as well as we hoped. It’s still no excuse, but we’re open to ideas as always (should this continue).

Any news? I mean, this is ridiculous... it's been almost 2 months.. maybe next year, have a system where you can't receive your secret santa until you make yours? It might encourage people to actually submit theirs...

We are deeply sorry for the current situation. Our mods have been trying really hard to continue to coordinate this year's event, but given the fandom environment after the finale it has been immensely difficult, to say the least. We sincerely apologize to those of you who have not yet received a gift. Feel free to send us constructive criticism on the running of this year's event and we will take it into consideration if there are plans to ever host another.

So... I get that you guys can only do so much, but it looks like over half the people on your lift didn't get their gifts. What, if anything, do you have in place for this?

we're still in the process of communicating with gifters, granting extensions, and contacting backups. we're definitely doing our best to work with the current fandom situation and get as many of those gifts out as possible.

A/N: Hi sakizm! I’m your ridiculously late Avatar Secret Santa! I combined a few of the prompts and characters you listed for this. Ireally hope you like it!

Snow softly started to pad the streets of Republic City with its splendor, but no one seemed to care. The small, white crystals were an anomaly in the City, which was usually warm regardless of the time of the year, so when the warm winds started to blow harder and colder, and when the snow started to fall, only the immigrants from the Water Tribe were fully prepared. Fire benders, with their above-average body temperatures, fared slightly better, though they never ceased their complaints regarding the weather. Regardless of their bending ability or nationality, every citizen in Republic City was bundled up in their thickest jackets or inside trying to keep warm. The Satomobiles that previously roamed the streets were now just pieces of metal and plastic covered in ice. After several accidents and close calls, President Raiko called for a state of emergency and closed the roads. The snow forced the usually-bustling city to quiet down.

The sudden cold spell also brought with it the sniffles.
