The Thai marriage equality bill has passed its Senate round:

[Within that source link: I believe the second and third agenda readings in July have to do with the equal terminology for family rearing (whereby equality advocates would like the terms “first parent” instead of “mother and father” to be used when adopting children), but I would love for @happypotato48, @recentadultburnout, or @hallowpen to check me on that if you don’t mind!]

In any case: the marriage equality bill now gets posted for 60 days in the Royal Gazette for the Royal stage to approve. Exactly 60 days from now is June 1st. 🏳️‍🌈

I’m adding this for clarification because I’m actually a little confused as to when the bill will go to the Royal stage. These are the next Senate readings for the bill, scheduled for July 8th:

So maybe the bill will not technically be signed into law by June 1st? (cc @hallowpen @happypotato48 @recentadultburnout if you’re able to clarify?)
