you know what. i think i understand this automatic response from ongsa upon hearing the quote, “the sky is high, the ground is low” now

because he had to hear this shit soooo many times throughout the show, in the context where people just assume phob forced his feelings on tin, that ongsa immediately feels the need to correct it

because ongsa intimately knows, unlike the characters, that the sky did come down on its own

and loved the ground more than anything

#i could rant about tin for a million years #someone please stop me from ranting about him!!#but listen listen #i don’t think anyone fully understands how much tin loves phob #maybe none of us ever will and we should just accept it #but the truth is. tin loves phob so much he has been blaming himself for eleven years cuz he insisted on crossing the line with phob #and it only ended up ruining things for him #he blames himself even more now because he caused phob to suffer after leaving the palace #tin was willing to break phob’s heart and make phob hate him forever just so phob could move on #tin is always happy to see phob thrive #so much so that he’s okay with being miserable as long as phob is out there having a good life #tin loves phob so much he risked everything to save him #he took a fucking bullet for that man without thinking twice and he’d do it again!!!#tin is okay with dying for phob. with living in hell so phob is safe #all of this while trying his best to pretend his feelings don’t exist or don’t matter #all that matters is that phob is alive and happy #fuck his own feelings. he’d choke them with his bare hands to stop them from ruining phob’s future #it’s so selfless it’s downright cruel #and it only feels right when tin gets to be selfish about this love #because only by refusing to let go is that they stand a chance of being happy in this lifetime #and i hope that when the time comes. tin allows himself to be greedy again because god knows phob is greedy for him as well #and together they can be unstoppable #the edge of horizon #dramas
